Lovely local butchers. Started going here during lockdown 1.0. Alan is very welcoming and knowledgeable and will always advise on cuts and the meats and happy to cut how you like with an amount you like. Even great for pork scratchings, eggs and cheese. The 3 packs of bbq meats for £10 are superb. Everything I’ve had is on a different league compared to supermarkets. Shop local you won’t regret it.

Alan and his boys are always wonderful at providing us with the best cuts and give the best service. We love using local shops - especially when they are as special as this place. Our Christmas bird was amazing and whatever we need during the week is always available and carefully prepared.

I have struggled to find a butcher for 5 years living in the area. I am a South African and make my own biltong and boerewors. This is the best butcher I have ever found. They have everything you need from a butcher to make your own sausage. Guys are knowledgeable, very friendly, willing to help and great prices! The quality of meat it outstanding and I will never buy meat anywhere else. They are so good I had to write this review as I never normally write reviews for anything. Very very happy customer!

Popped in early this morning following a friend's recommendation.

My beef mince was prepared while I waited , lovely quality and a good price . While waiting I noticed the thickest slices of smoked back bacon I've ever seen so added some to my order .

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they knew many of their customers by first name so they are obviously long time customers.

Absolutely the BEST butchers in the area. The selection and quality of meats and cuts is unparalleled. Nowhere else will you find all cuts of beef (chuck, t-bone, blade, fillet), lamb, pork. Not only does Alan have difficult to find game meat like pheasant, duck and venison but he also a freezer loaded with burgers and sausages made from EXOTIC meats like elk, ostrich and zebra. I can't understate how much of a gem Alan's shop is
