We recently stayed at the Hayloft for a delayed anniversary present following our wedding at Gate Street at the end of 2023. It was the perfect weekend break away from day to day life with a delicious breakfast included!
We are so glad we chose to have our wedding at Gate Street and truly had the most amazing day. The team were brilliant from day one, very professional and always happy to help and on hand for advice. We used many of the recommended suppliers and the day ran so smoothly thanks to the team, it was better than we could have ever imagined. We received great feedback from all the guests and we used all of the on site accommodation - it was brilliant being able to sit together with our families to have breakfast the following morning. Would highly reccomend this venue to anyone!

Gate street Venue review.

The team at Gate Street Venue made our wedding weekend so special, perfect and ensured things ran seamlessly. Every detail was thought through and taken care of expertly. They handled everything for us so we didn't have to worry or think about the contacting of our suppliers the week before and on the day itself.
The accommodation was beautiful, and we were so lucky to be able to enjoy it for the full weekend. The in-house chef who did the breakfast both mornings was brilliant, everything was so fresh, delicious and such a good variety.
The venue itself was a hit for us, and our guests Set in the Surrey hills, it was perfect, thankfully the weather held off enough for us to really appreciate the setting. We can't recommend Gate Street Venue enough for anyone else who is planning their wedding.

We got married at Gate Street Barn last weekend and have had the most wonderful experience with the entire team. It's been the most seamless and joyful process. We knew that we were in great hands from our first visit to the big day itself. Our family loved being able to visit the venue at Gate Street Open Days, where we also got a chance to meet with their recommended suppliers, many of whom we also used! The number of compliments we've received about the venue is incredible, our guests absolutely loved it, as did we! We visited lots of wedding venues before finding Gate Street Barn and are so thrilled to have chosen them for our special day. We couldn't have asked for a more professional and supportive team. We used the on-site accommodation for our wedding night, which are all absolutely stunning. The rooms are gorgeous and breakfast the next morning was incredible, plus a dip in the pool! Thank you so much to Leanne, India, Annabel, Holly, Ellie and all of the Gate Street team for making our day so perfect. This is truly a very special wedding venue.

Didn't stay there though accommodation looks amazing. I was at a wedding there today and the venue is rustic, countryside and AMAZING. If you're marrying hire it. If you're travelling hire it. Not only a beautiful venue and surrounds, the Team there are polished, understanding and extraordinarily helpful. If I were to divorce and marry again I'd do it there...the marriage bit.

We had the best wedding day ever at Gate Street, it was such beautiful venue to hold our Christmas/winter wedding in. Holly and India and the whole team were so lovely, helpful and answered all my many, many questions and helped me feel calm and relaxed on the day. Their recommended suppliers were all fantastic too.
