Wonderful nursery with so much to choose from, and very good prices. Catrena was so helpful, knowledgeable and patient with us choosing our trees, which now look amazing in our garden.
Highly recommend if you want to put plants/trees in your garden.

I have been to the nursery quite a few times and purchased many trees and shrubs. The staff are very friendly, helpful and have helped me decide what tree/shrub is best. I used a lot of my purchases to make and design my own bonsai, the prices are ridiculously cheap for what you get. There is never a bad time to re-do your garden or pot some shrubs, I'd highly recommend Maple Farm Nursery 🍁

I went to Maple Farm last year looking for some hedging plants. After lots of helpful advice, I chose some Portuguese Laurel. Excellent quality plants which are really thriving a year later. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy. If you want healthy shrubs and trees, then this is definitely the place to go.

Went here today on recommendation of our gardener - looking for some established bushes to place along our fencing
The lovely lady Katrina couldn’t have been more helpful ! Our little ones picked some blackberries whilst there and she kindly gave them a bowl to bring them home along with ice lollies as it was such a beautiful day (Thankyou so much - so kind) Such a lovely lady and so informative on different plants and bushes and the variety was absolutely huge !
Pay them a visit ! You won’t be disappointed!
I never even knew this place existed - it’s signposted a little way up the A583 off to the left 🙂 big thanks again !

This is a bit of a strange review as it is a tale of two halves.

The first half was the initial visit and purchase of 3 young trees (6’-8’) and their planting/staking in my back garden, which went well. They turned up as agreed and did a decent job. No complaints.

The second half was a different story. I purchased a young (3’-4’ high) palm in a pot and again requested delivery and (possibly) planting/staking depending on what they advised when they visited. Despite my initial visit to purchase and agree delivery etc. I heard nothing from them about when they would deliver. However, 5 days later I arrived back home one day to find the palm tree left outside my garage door in my driveway, where it could be easily seen by anyone passing by. Despite my initial visit to purchase and agree delivery etc. and a further 2 telephone calls to chase planting/staking/advice, they failed to respond to me. I ended up asking my usual gardener for advice and he eventually planted it for me.

I cannot understand why there was such a difference in the service they offered between my 1st & 2nd purchases. This is despite me spending almost £800 in my first 2 visits to their business and there would have been more. But not now.

I get the feeling that they are happy to do business with people who are fully experienced and know exactly what they are doing (horticulturally) but have little time for the beginner.

Also, you struggle to get anything more than a card machine printed sales receipt out of them for any purchases, which is probably not quite in alignment with HMRC requirements for VAT registered businesses, which I assume they are by the prices they charge for goods and services?

The bottom line is that I won’t be using them again and could not recommend them to anyone else, based upon my 2nd purchase experience with them. (This review relates to experience in April 23)

We wanted some plants and shrubs for our reworked from garden. The girls we spoke to were knowledgeable, friendly and incredibly helpful and we got some very nice stuff to put in the garden.
