Absolutely idyllic tea room. The setting and views are picturesque! The service was great, the food was delicious, we had a hard time choosing as the menu was full of delicious sounding dishes. The tearoom has collectable quirky teapots around the walls and the cutest salt and pepper pots ever! Thank you for a delicious cream tea, we will be back to try more dishes!

arrived 1PM on thursday after hiking at three shires head. it was a good sunny day, therefore, the tea room was busy, fortunately, there was one table free for us.. advise to book a table in advance.
the sea baa was tasty, consisted of two piece fillets, vegetable curry would be better if cooked an hour longer to make the curry thicker. add chicken on vegetable curry was only £1.50. the chips were crispy and salad was fresh. the english breakfast was good and value for money. tea room has a good selection of home made cakes. i had a piece of guiness cake (chocolate cake) it was good not too sweet.

Excellent food, friendly and professional staff. The premises have wonderful views of the pennines(when it's not foggy). Due to its reputation, the Peak View Tea Room is often full, so it's best to book a table in advance. Walkers are also welcome, and takeaways can be purchased here. It has a fair-sized carpark, but these can fill up quickly during its busiest times. Be advised that the tea room is closed from Monday to Wednesday but will be open during the Christmas holidays, including the big day itself.

Lovely location and amazing views 💕 it was a cold day,so didn't stay for long as needed too get out the clouds. Had a coffee, lady was polite. Loads of cakes on offer. Wished there was a covered outdoor area/conservatory for us dog owners and we would of stayed longer 💕 will be back however, just when it's warmer. Very unique old charming building 🥰

I had the Sunday beef roast, which was absolutely top quality. Beautiful beef - and a good-sized portion of that - with fluffy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, peas, carrots, and broccoli. My dining companion had the fishcakes, which he declared outstanding. He was very happy to have been able to choose the roasties as an accompaniment. We shared a lemon drizzle cake slice, which was hands-down the moistest I've ever had. Lovely coffee, too.

They were busy. Some confusion as every one of the many empty tables was reserved. When we eventually spoke to someone they gave us one of those.

They slightly messed up the food order. They earned us that ticket times were 45 minutes. It was a long while but I don't know how long.

The food just wasn't very nice. I'm not sure why. It tasted like it was all frozen stuff. My roast pork was very dry with not much flavour. Stuffing was the size of a large marble.

The sea bass looked like it came from the store rather than a fishmonger.

For what it was it's overpriced. If the potatoes had been peeled that day and roasted then, that would have been good but it was maybe frozen ones that had been fried for speed.

The place has a lovely view, is comfortable and the wait staff try
