We visit Tyndalls for visits for different things but we went to the Santa grotto on Christmas Eve and it was wonderful! Beautiful, stunning grotto and friendly staff! It was absolutely beautiful and my daughter loved it. She also said, "that was the real Santa mummy, I know""

This rating is purely for the grotto. My kids, are older, 9 and 11, and it wasn't great for their age group. £15 too much to pay each and £3 for me too. For younger kids it was OK, could spend 20 minutes walking through and then a short queue for the big man. Santa himself wasn't the best, not the patter and chat I was expecting, just standard what do you want have you been good? Maybe it's just the kids were a bit older and needed something more convincing...

We have always been going to a different nursery for many years and because of the pandemic we couldn't get decent hanging baskets from our usual nursery so we drove around in search for a nursery that would do decent hanging baskets so we drove to a few other places and decided to try Tyndall's as a last resort. BEST DECISION EVER!
We got there and fell in love with the place immediately. It has pretty much everything we were after and I absolutely love the inside part for home accessories. The stuff there are very beautiful and very high quality with super decent prices.
We found the most beautiful hanging baskets that were everything we wanted and very reasonably priced at 29.99 for a 16".
We went there again a few more times and everytime it's been such a successful trip and our garden now looks amazing.
Love this place all round and definitely worth the visit.

I was surprised how large and well stocked this centre is. They have a lovely range. I couldn't give 5 stars as dogs are not allowed so unfortunately I will have to go elsewhere for my plants😔

Brought a single fish a few days ago. Before I added the fish to my tank I tested the water and it can up perfect. Let the bag climatise to the water for about 30 mins and slowly added water from my tank to the bag every 10-15mins. 2 days later fish died. I tested the water and it was it was really high in nitrate and ammonia so I done a 10% water change and treated the tank and tested the water a hour later and it was at the perfect levels again. The next day I came home from work to find 22 fish dead including catfishs, corydoras, tetras, goramois, clown loachs, sharks. I have lost over £200 of fish from going to this place. There water is dirty and fish was clearly infected. Do not buy from this shop unless you want over half your tank to die. I've kept fish for over 10years. My friend went to buy a few this morning so we could test there water and the results was shocking with every thing in the dangerous levels. How can they get away with do this is beyond me.

Usually enjoy Tyndalls, however was there for my mother in laws birthday treating her to some plants, prices were incorrectly displayed and staff were rude and very dismissive. Sign clearly states £6.99 but staff just said they were the mixed baskets not these, but there was no other signs in this section. Will avoid in future.

Not bad prices. But most flowering plants are flowering FAR TOO EARLY.... hoping that the advice of dead heading the flowers. Allows them to flower again. More in line with when they should naturally flower.
