An awful company. Do not even contemplate getting a quote from them let alone giving them your money!!

If you want to feel what it is to be scammed then these guys can supply the experience and some.

We enter red into a contract with them as the winning installer through a Mayor of London Solar Together scheme. For months we have had to chase them; first to get the survey done. Then to get a date for the installation.

They cancelled our first installation with less than 24hrs notice despite assurances it would go ahead after hours on hold trying to get updates from them the previous week.

They have finally installed our solar panels; yes this was painful as well as no kit was delivered in advance so a two day install took over 3 days but no inverter was delivered so it's not complete. We have had no communication about this. As a result have been left for over two weeks with a system that can't be used and no sign of this being resolved.

I have had to chase them at every stage. They don't even have the courtesy of phoning back when they promise to or responding to emails despite their contract stating an maximum 48hrs to do so.

We are no contemplating what we do next. Sadly it looks like we will have to seek legal advise.

I never put reviews but I'm so sickened by this company I want to make sure no one else has to deal with them if possible. You have been warned!

If I could give this company Zero stars, I would. I have just had my third installation date cancelled. In total I have lost 6 days leave with failed installations and no shows from scaffolding companies.

The customer service is non-existent. I was promised and assured by a customer service manager by email that the third installation would go ahead without issue. No scaffolding two days before the installation but the company assured me it would be with me the day before installation.

We were only informed about the third cancellation when we contacted them. We then received a cut and paste email offering £75 compensation. This is the second offer of the compensation but when I have previously requested compensation for the 1st failed installation, I was told by a customer service manager that I would be getting nothing.

I was promised a call back from the company's director and as expected, this has never materialised.

If you need to call customer services, unless you call at 9am, expect to wait on hold for over an hour. My record for waiting is 3 hours.

Deposit was paid in April 2022 and they are now offering a 4th installation for 20th December. They constantly blame lack of scaffolding but refuse to provide me with the scaffolding company details.

It seems they are more than happy to hold my deposit and waste my annual leave with zero empathy.

Local MP, Local council and Trading Standards are all now informed as this company should never have been allowed to run the local solar panel installation project by the council.

This is the second poor review I have submitted. My last review did receive a reply asking for my reference number but then failed to respond or do anything.

I have sent numerous emails to managers and the general mailbox, all that never receive a response.

When I asked to speak to the operations manager this morning, I was informed that she was in a meeting. I stated I would hold as nobody ever calls me back and I was told that they have a 5-day manger call back process. Totally unacceptable.

I eventually had to apply for a CCJ against GET to get my money back. GET did not respond to any of the court papers and the CCJ was awarded. A few days later, I was contacted by their accounts department to make payment to me. It's very sad that it took court action to get my refund.

Been waiting for an installation date for 2 weeks now. Was told would be called within a few days after paying a deposit. Have tried a number of times to call but give up after about 50 minutes of listening to the same song over and over. Have been hung up on a number of times without talking to anyone. Finally got through to installations team to book who transferred me to sales where I was stuck on hold for an hour. I gave up. Tried using their call back service about 4 times on different days. Never got a call back. Absolutely shocking customer service.

Update. My installation date has been put back 4 times now. Each time saying they haven't managed to arrange scaffolding.

Update 2. Last installation date they failed to let me know it wasn't going to happen despite emailing them several times in the lead up to state the scaffolding hadn't turned up (they didn't reply to any).

I've now given up and going with someone else. I asked for a refund of my deposit but they are now ignoring me.

I would seriously reconsider if you have the option to go with them. Sometimes cheaper isn't always better.

Update 3.
After a number of phone calls. I have managed to get them to confirm I am on the list of customers getting a refund. They wouldn't tell me how many were on it or when I would get a refund.

Update 4.
3 months later and i'm still on the refund list. Needs senior staff to authorise apparently. Jokers.

Final Update
After ignoring all my emails and calls, I finally claimed a refund via my bank for the full amount. Took 6 months. Choosing this company was the worst decision of my life. Avoid like the plague.

We had the misfortune of dealing with this company via the Solar Together scheme sponsored by Huntingdonshire District Council. GET are an absolute bunch of charlatans and outright liars. After multiple missed installation dates we cancelled our order and requested the return of our deposit. Three months on and no sign of our money being returned. Emails go unanswered and phoning them is a total waste of time,
the only department you can talk to is Sales who can't help with cancelled orders. Yesterday we received an email asking if we were enjoying our new solar installation and requesting payment of the outstanding balance. Unbelievable!
Avoid at all costs.

Booked via Solar Together from Huntingdonshire Council and everything was OK up to and including survey.

You have to pay by phone the deposit - over an hour in queue

Installation booked for 4th August with panels etc to come with installers confirmed by GET by email - no they arrived in front garden during period where no one home

4th August - nobody came. Called at lunchtime to be told delayed but on way.

5th August - I rang and was told Installation manager would call by 1530. Again nothing

6th August - call from installer at 8am saying would be here by 9. No show and when I called they said had my number attached to the job they were doing.

8th August - called at 9am to be told would call back on or before 12 with whatever info was available. No call

On each of these days it has been me phoning and being on hold for hours to chase replies but generally get cut off when get to number 1 in the queue.

I have emailed many times with nil response and used callback 4 times with no call back.

Have now wasted 3 days minimum trying to get an install date.

Every step of the contract post survey has been broken:
No call 5 days before install date to confirm still OK
Written agreement that kit would come with installers - came by van with no note to say had been.
Callback on email promised regarding if need scaffolding not followed through.
Missed installation date with no call to apologise or explain.
All follow up calls promised not forthcoming and generally the excuse for needing to call back is the installation manager is busy or unobtainable.
Still don't know when or if the kit will get installed but I have made it clear on each call / email that not accepting any responsibility for loss or damage.

If I could give no stars that would be too many...

As of today 5 appointments failed including today. When rang to see what time would be arriving was told no one would be as date changed to 7th October but I was the last to know!!!

How any council can recommend/ use them in their group schemes is beyond me?

Very mixed experience with this company. To start with the good: the installers (electricians and roofers) were very good and very knowledgeable. We had a difficult setup but in the end they came up with a great solution. They were friendly, gave good advice and put together a good product. I would give them 5 stars.

However dealing with the office I had very bad experiences. It's really difficult to reach them. They make plans and then cancel last minute with no information and no follow ups. It took ages to get the install done due to missing people, missing parts, etc. Then after it was done it took ages to get the scaffolding taken down. I am also still waiting for my certificate. I would give them 1 star.

Overall I think we got a good product for a reasonable price, it just took a very long time and way too many follow ups to get this done. I would give 2.5 stars if I could.

Been told 2 dates for installation. Nothing.. no emails, no phone calls.
Office staff DID NOT HAVE A CLUE.

We paid 3k deposit & were billed the full amount after the 1st installation date ( which never happened)

waiting on a cancellation form now for the last few days.. nothing.

The plus side is, they have delivered about 9k of panels and equipment to us, which is now locked away.

We are sending them an email explaining that as they have not kept to their part of the contract, we expect our deposit back in full within 7 days. If not received, we will use the equipment that was delivered to recoup our funds 😎🖕

Scumbag sham of a company!

Absolutely sham of a company. We went through Solar Cambridgeshire scheme and they have been little help. We’ve been complaining since last June. The history is too long to narrate but we’re now left with no battery and two cheap inverters which do not work. Thankfully despite them chasing the balance of the payment for an incomplete system they only have our deposit. Solar Cambridgeshire were very gracious in letting us know that GET Uk had lost their MCS accreditation. Thanks a bunch. How about getting our deposit back! We’ve made a S75 claim to the credit card company and await the outcome. I would suggest others try this route too. Good luck to everyone who is experiencing this debacle. I certainly hope they are forced to return our money. If you check the director Nick Elbourne he has already had one solar company that went into liquidation in 2019. Obviously has no business scruples
