Lovely food , quality meat , and the pork pies are proper proper nice , would say they are the best I've ever had , sausage rolls are nice too price is equally as good , I'd recommend to anyone

When I go on my Saturday walk around Yorkshire I often locate a butchers / bakers to pick up a couple of pork pie for my mates at my local (Ingram Arms - Doncaster) - well McQuillan's are ranked the best.... number 1 !! beating those from at least 12 others... all the various pork pies are amazing...sampling a warm sausage roll is one of the best things to do.... so if you are in the area and its not too late then grab yourself some pies / rolls...its only a small shop and so just look for the queue around the corner....

I started going here a few months ago. The meat is amazing. I’ve had everything. The tomato sausage is fab the black pudding is the best ever and the pies OMG! Even worth standing in all weathers for 🤣. I get the weekly special every week and work my meals around the offer. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Staff are welcoming and it’s a proper Barnsley traditional butchers.
