Staff lovely and so nice however it’s dirty. Sat by the window today and the underneath of the window frames at eye height are covered in finger prints and food . Table bottoms were not clean and upper areas of beams lots of evidence of dirty water droplets . Aware I work for an industrial cleaning company where staff do deep cleans and possibly more aware but it felt quite gross looking up at what would take your cleaners 5 mins each day to do under neath areas

The lack of training is obvious

My last visit

Asked how To use the scan and go system and where you scan your club card and the staff member didn’t know !

Today
Wow what a matter of fact attitude from the lottery counter

Brought two shirts in F&F, went to the self checkout scanned and paid on my card, asked if I wanted a receipt so just said no

Massive mistake the T-shirt had a security tag that set off the alarm, challenged by a staff member and asked for a receipt. Fair no problem she kindly printed the receipt and advised me that if I need to return them it would be a good idea.

The receipt option should not be available at this store you should always get a receipt if you are treating law abiding customers like this

Walked to the lottery counter and got some scratch cards

Trying to walk away challenged if I had purchased the clothes for the second time and the attitude was I need to see the receipt

This place must get a lot of shop lifting and this must mean we are all thieves no apologies or smile just basically I’m a dunce for asking the reason

Because you have come back in

Keep your food and clothes you have made an additional £890,000,000 last financial year in a cost of living crisis

Maybe you should spend some of that money on training your staff

Challenging customers about theft should be treated with much more interaction based on training

Great if you catch someone we all pay for shop lifting

There seem a lack of real security and the employee has to make these decisions smells like cost cutting to me

We were camping in the area and went in to use the cafe for breakfast.

I was immediately impressed by the cafe. Nice atmosphere and a friendly professional welcome from John on the till. He made a special effort to make sure our visit was the best it could be. We were very happy with our visit. Kids ate for free and we were happy with the quantity, quality and overall price.

Ridiculous carpark, only one way in and out, you exit onto a roundabout with a crossing, it takes longer to get out than it takes to do a full shop.
The staff are lazy (no shocker there for Hexham) and incompetent, particularly rude floor supervisor with massive eyelashes, saggy sack of porridge backside and a fake tan that makes her look like she's been tango'd, she's the one who's always standing around doing nothing but far too busy to help a customer.

This is a massive Tesco store which really does have everything you need in one place! The store was spotless and had plenty of space between the aisles. There is a large free carpark with plenty of space. Remember to bring your club card as a lot of products are cheaper with one.

Used the self service tills due to lengthy queues at the traditional checkouts.
Machine got confused with our own bags. Machine scales did not work. Assistant told us this was a known problem and its better to weigh stuff in the fruit and veg section! Took a few minutes to reset scales. Assistant then went off to weigh our stuff. Finally got to payment and waited for a tag to be removed. When all done and got home found that there was another tag in some clothing that I now have to return to a store to get it removed.

Can't help but think it would have been a much better experience at the human checkout. Either put more people on tills, or at least sort your tech out. Also make it clear on clothes that they are tagged....

There is a new rule in Tescos for buying Alcohol, if your 45 years old and you have your 17 year old daughter with you on when checking out even the 17 year old needs ID or they refuse the sale? Gone to Waitrose where there staff confirmed Tescos staff don’t know there jobs. Well done Lisa ( checkout ) and Ashley ( manager ) for your incredible incompetence and prejudice towards my wife or where we’re from, utterly disgusting won’t be going shopping in Tescos again. So people accordingly to Lisa and Ashley if you shopping for your family and have a baby or toddler with you, you can forget the bottle of wine ! Prejudiced and racist staff
