We visited Leamington spa to meet up with friends. Our accommodation was near the town. I happened to be passing in this butcher and realised they serve food as well to take out. I am so glad I did because the sausage bun I bought was really worth it! 3 sa sausages in a big bun was enough to full up a hungry tummy! They serve a few British favourites worth having a look.

We had a Christmas soiree for 35 people (including children) and ordered almost all of the food from Aubrey Allen. Everything was simply perfect. The game pie and pork pie went down a storm and the cooked ham meant I didn't even have to turn the oven on. The cheeses came in lovely presentation boxes (which I actually returned because I didn't need them) so would make great Christmas gifts for cheese-lovers. We'll be back next year, for sure.

We were treated to the butchery course and can’t rave highly enough about it. An intimate hands-on carving experience led by a seasoned butcher of over 45 years. Class size of about seven adds a sense of firsthand learning. Amazing way to start learning how to separate meat from the bone, taught in the French or continental way.

A fun experience gift for a special someone.

Lamb leg; whole chicken; and sausage twisting over the course of 2+ hours, and what you cut, you take home (unless you ruin it, in which case, they’ll replace the cut with the instructor’s).

Excellent spread of wine and Aubrey Allen nibbles afterwards for a wind down chat and social. Staff are too kind for words - thanks Helen, Steve, and Billy!

I have tried to visit a few times thinking poor and cold customer service maybe just a one off but I have firmly decided I will go elsewhere. I have visited alone and with my family. Never welcomed, always rushed that’s if you do manage to get served by someone and made to feel uncomfortable when I am there. I’m sure I don’t fit the description of their preferred customer type. I go to The Farm in Stratford now much better customer service and quality meat.
I’ve noticed their response to negative reviews are either automated or replicated for other negative reviews! Avoid!!!

As tourists we were only there to sample the hot food we’d seen on google map review. Had the pulled pork with crackling, stuffing and gravy in a bun and it didn’t disappoint. Wife enjoyed a sausage on its own and best she’s eaten in visiting UK this time, “really really nice”
