Given two stars only due to most of the offloading lads are decent and pretty friendly.. but… yet again this site is another example where delivering drivers are treated as second class citizens, as an unfortunate inconvenience of needing deliveries onto site. Good luck if you need to pee at any point during your visit as you aren’t made aware of any toilets on site; you’re read the riot act on your induction of the sanctions for exiting your truck while in the waiting area so you have to stay in your truck till you get to the offloading area, all of which is inside, then when you need to go to the toilet you walk to the security gatehouse where you know for a fact there is a toilet and you’re met with a notice fixed to the door, which is locked with a keypad, informing you to use the toilet facilities in the trailer park, which is actually offsite! So good luck if it’s raining! When you get there you’re met with seriously poor facilities, piss soaked floor as the trap under the urinal leaks, not even a proper seat, no soap dispenser, absolutely grim! This is how they view drivers! The only reason they even provide this is because they have a legal obligation to provide toilet facilities.. I have attached photos..

This place is like a small village, hard for the first time to find the correct loading shed, but just follow the colour coding, and you'll be okay. Must.do an induction first, and you must have 20 straps and 40 corner pieces. This is asked for before entering the site, also, very strict on PPE requirements.

Went here a couple of weeks ago had 5hrs left on my time to tip and reload. Sent to wrong bay twice then back to where I started. I told forklift driver I was running out of time and he said it takes as long as it takes. Finally got done then the exit weighbridge would print paperwork. Finally left with 40 mins to spare at 01.00am had to hammer it to Newcastle as there was no parking around

Very busy site. Extremely large well signed. One way system in operation heavy plant vehicles operating also. Health and safety is a premium for this site. Good loading and unloading staff very helpful and professional and efficient covid aware. Facilities are OK. Still maintaining a very high standard.

Worst place for tipping and loading with waiting times regularly in excess of several hours. No hot meals available or offerd. you have to watch a large screen for your Registration number to appear before driving in and start looking at another screen.,would have been better to receive a pager that way you would be able to relax.
