Turned up expecting the owners to be like what people have said, but they were nice as pie and polite. I was greeted by a woman but again, pleasant person and had no hint of any bad manners. Good day fishing, and very peaceful. All in all, don't believe what you read in reviews and make your own judgment.

Lovely place to fish with two lakes, one large and the other slightly smaller. Quite exposed to the elements so wrap up if windy or get that sun cream on if sunny! Toilet available and there are some basic fishing goods available to purchase.. Open from 7.00am-8.00pm.

Hard one to review this, the big lake looks good but it did have a match on so can’t really say much about that, the small lake is exactly what it says small, got a couple out and they were all in good condition. The lake is spotless and the surroundings, toilet was clean and it has a little shop too, I’ve read a lot of reviews on the owner and I do understand how he comes across but he was fine with me, seems he doesn’t trust many people but after haven’t a conversation with him he was fine, the small lake is more for kids I’d say but I will be given the big one a go

Fished the small lake today and it was a joy. Well stocked some really nice fish there ( the mirror is 10.2 lbs) and the whole place is just beautiful - no noise as it's off the main road. Well recommended. Cheap too and staff is friendly.
