Great shop for great Sussex ale! Always pick up a couple of crates of beer when I visit. You’re charged a small deposit on the crates and bottles, which you get back when you return them. If you’re returning and/or buying a lot of bottles, always best to park in the brewery car park (accessible via Court Road, Railway Lane, on to the pedestrianised part of Cliffe High Street, over the bridge, and first left after that). Let the shop know you have a lot of returns and where you’re parked and the fantastic staff will help unload/load. Great choice of beers, as well as wines, plus brewery merchandise. Staff are always helpful and friendly…. Highly recommend if you visit Lewes… 👍

We were in Lewis and found this local brewery shop. Bought a few different bottles of Harvey’s brewery products. So good. Sussex best bitter is the best

Bought a case of Sussex best low alcohol and extremely disappointed. Went completely flat within a minute tastes more like a watered down IPA than beer. Even went and got another glass, washed it out and tried again to make sure… Complete waste of money and nothing like ale.

This is a really nice shop to buy cigars and fine whisky.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and totally non pushy.
The shop itself is a bit quirky on its layout , but they stock a good range of wine and beer .
They have a good range of cigars which are stored correctly and handled correctly, and the staff actually know the product they are selling.
I am a truly difficult and quirky customer who likes his Cohiba and boutique whisky but the staff at Harvey's put up with me and give me excellent service .
I spend the majority of my cigar budget at Harvey's.
They are probably one of the best specialist off licences outside of London, and there team deserve a pay rise for putting up with me .
