Good garden centre huge range of quality plants at reasonable prices, the other shops shoes clothing and others are excellent.
The restaurant however was dreadful I had a sausage roll that was so dry and over cooked that it was impossible to cut, when I eventually broke it open there was only a little at the centre that may have been edible.
You must question whether a kitchen that serves this is a safe place to eat.

Called in on the way home, for cake & coffee. Slice of cake £4:50!! Just had coffee, we were informed corporate purchasing, not made locally, hence the price. Then we noticed this poster! Can't work it out!!😉😊

My husband and I took our granddaughters to the restaurant for lunch. I asked the lady behind the counter if they had a children’s menu and she was quite rude told me that they were on the shelves. Her attitude was not very welcoming, and how dare I ask a question. It wasn’t a menu, it was a lunch box, a very unhealthy option. I ordered adult meals and asked for two extra plates, when our order came, I had to ask for plates again. All in all, our experience was not good. Are you a restaurant or a canteen? What has happened to hospitality.

Previously called Wyevale, in fact this is the site of the very first garden centre in England! Very large selection of plants, pots, gardening accessories, indoor plants etc. Inside can be found many small departments selling many household and personal items plus stuff for pets. There is also a cafe, could easily spend a couple of hours wandering around here. The centre is well set out and clean, plenty of parking. Tills can be a tad slow at times and some of their stuff is pricey but overall a great garden centre.

Whilst the cafe itself is clean and welcoming the food was poor. My wife and I had lunch and she had the veggie frittata, chips and salad, I had the lasagne and salad, swapping the garlic bread for chips. The lasagne was in an individual dish, always a bad sign. The salad was out of a bag and contained black, half rotten bits, brown suspect leaves and was awful. The chips were floury and tasteless and were served on the cold plate. The lasagne wasn't lasagne. It was a bowl of melted cheese with a token sheet of pasta, some vague nod to a tomato based sauce with little taste and no sign of meat.

Visited with my daughter, toddler granddaughter and their family dog today. We browsed the garden centre plants until the heavens opened and forced us indoors. My granddaughter adored the Christmas display of snowmen, reindeer, Santa etc
We enquired if dogs were permitted in the coffee shop and were pleasantly surprised to discover that they were- on the tables situated on the brown flooring.
We ordered lunch and beverages.
The panini and baguette were delicious and drinks good.
Did not have to wait long for our lunch even though the coffee shop was quite busy. It seemed very well organised.
It’s been years since I visited this coffee shop as I was under the impression dogs were not permitted inside.
We had a great visit overall and my granddaughter loved it.

Popped into the garden centre mainly to grab lunch in the restaurant. Excellent food reasonably priced and friendly staff. Jacket potatoe with chilli really good. Will be back soon.

Went to the garden centre café. Despite being exceptionally busy, all the staff were interacted with were friendly and helpful. Genuinely impressed with their attitudes.
