Good traditional butchers selling meat and game. Also available are cheeses, eggs and homemade beef dripping. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and are able to cut up meat to your own requirements. Service is excellent and prices are very reasonable.

Got sick and tired of the poor quality of supermarket meat. Tried this butchers. The staff were fantastic. Unlike the super market you can choose exactly how much you want. And when I cooked the quality and taste is far far better won't be going anywhere else

Outstanding customer service and quality of food. The bacon is proper stuff and doesn't shrink. The chicken tastes like chicken and doesn't shrink. The steaks are rich and cut to order and cook perfectly. The food is locally sourced and far exceeds supermarket offerings. A must for your Christmas orders too. Best gammon and turkey you can buy.

Hedgers was recommended to me by a neighbour.
In one sentence: ‘meat tastes like it should do.’
I bought a half leg of lamb, sausages and bacon.
Each product was superb.
Not only was the meat amazing but the customer service in the shop was beyond reproach.

Best butchers in area, as far as I know. I've been living in Canterbury for 20 years now, and I've done a Merry go round to other butchers and supermarkets for some time. NEVER AGAIN. The meat from them is by far the best. Not only quality is top notch, bit also prices do not vary that much. Plus you can ask for spare bones for your stocks, etc. I do hope they'll never go out of business. The eggs they sell are also brilliant.

Best butchers in Canterbury. Meat is very high quality, ham is super delicious and customer service is always the best.
Butchers can cut it and make the meat just the way you want it. They give a great advice as well.
Highly recommended
