This farmer cares not one jot for the countryside, ploughing out trees, hedges and conservation strips with no thought for wildlife. Last week he combined a large field with no warning to neighbours so they could shut windows and take in washing before clouds of dust and straw enveloped the area. Of course we need wheat, but we also need people to farm the land who are sensitive to wildlife and the people who live close by.
