We arrived about 5 minutes before they were due to close on the off chance we could get a few to take away.

The gent that was loading up some barrels welcomed us with a smile and the lady who served us was incredibly friendly, and helpfully knowledgeable.

The shop is open regular working hours, with tap house open at other times and evenings (check social media).

We bought a mix and match 6 pack.

2x SIPA, 2x Pilsner & 2x Hefe Weizen.

We shared them amongst our party and they went down a storm. The Hefe Weizen being a firm favourite and "the nicest beer they've ever drunk" for one of the family.

We shall definitely be back, if you're in the area and enjoy craft beer, make sure you visit!

Called in about 20mins before they were due to close today as we're staying just up the road. The owner was very welcoming and invited us to try many of the beers. We left the taproom with a selection of cans, a glass to take home, plus a great insight into the history of this excellent brewery. Well worth a visit if you're in the area and like your craft beers.

An outstanding micro brewery. Superb owner and staff and plenty of help selecting the beer of your choice. Ultimately a brilliant place to visit or use frequently as a local. Top tip kegs are cheaper than you think.

Really nice brewery with some great beers on tap. The owners were really friendly too. Few games on the side you can you can play and they do events every now and then too with food. Also the beers tasted great, deff worth a visit if you are nearby!

Visited as part of a stag do. The lads had a great time. Fantastic tasting experience, cheese matched with beer followed by delicious homemade sandwiches and even more beer! While we were gorging ourselves the host gave us the lowdown on the brewing process and explained his own journey from hobbyist to professional brewer.

The beer itself is actually fantastic. My personal favourite was the 'Dragonfly' IPA, strong hops but well balanced with juicy notes. The 'Onyx' porter was my runner-up, really smooth and creamy, slipped down all too easily. Safe to say we left with a few "supplies" to help keep the stag do well-oiled late into the night!

We were in time for their evening event with food by Alfie. Atmosphere was great, really friendly and the beer was top notch. Loads of options if someone in your party doesn't like beer.

If you're in the area and like a craft brew or taproom, go for a visit, even if it's to buy a few cans. Great products and friendly staff. Best to drive though as access from a busy road with no pavement.
