Visited for a birthday afternoon tea, made to feel really welcome, table all set ready. Soup to start was so tasty, followed by the sandwiches and cakes. Unlimited tea and coffee. Everything was truly delicious. Highly recommended. There is a reasonably priced garden centre attached which has a great choice of plants etc.

First time eating here. Very good, great value for money. Sandwiches full of filling, really very good. Afternoon teas also looked amazing. Great service. Would recommend you try it, if, like me, you haven't already!

Staff were very pleasant, polite and helpful. Toilets were clean and well equipped. The cafe itself was a little untidy, large pile of boxes near the doorway. The cafe is not dog friendly, but there is an outdoor seating area where you can sit with a dog, including a large table under a marquee. There is also a children's play area. There is disabled parking and disabled access to both the cafe and outdoor seating. The prices are a little expensive but the food was mainly lovely. Ice cream is amazing, but the cones were a little soft, maybe need to be kept in an air tight container.
We sat outside as we had a dog with us and the table had not been cleaned. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Love this farm shop and cafe. Really fantastic pies, cakes and lots of other produce. Their farm produced cream is the best I've ever had. If you're local they also offer milk delivery and can deliver other produce too. Can't recommend enough.

Fabulous place to have lunch with a friend on a wet cold Thursday. Staff very friendly, good to have a laugh with. Altho it was busy, they managed to find us a table - so a good tip is to book in advance. Very good choice of menu even for a veggie, sorry didn't check out the vegan options. They call a spade a spade, they don't serve latte they serve milky coffee which is delicious. They bring hot water to top up your teapot as a matter of course. And they don't hurry you out - we had a three hour long catchup and didn't feel hassled to leave despite them being busy. They also have easy disabled access. Plus downstairs is a fabulous farm shop. And a children's play area outside.

You cannot go wrong here. The food upstairs is always spot on from the breakfasts (cheese on toast with bacon) to the Sunday roasts. Then you go downstairs and there's so much to look at. Garden centre and delicious home cooked food to take home... Oh and the BEST thing? The individual lemon 🍋 meringue pies. I get them every time I go!!!

All it missed was Julie Walters coming up to take my order. Seriously, it's a quaint old fashioned cafe serving lovely food. Lots of options and lovely attentive staff. Together with the garden centre and good/gift shop it's an ideal place for us oldies to go to. Recommended.
