We hired the main house and separate cottages for a large party of guests to celebrate a 40th Birthday. The grounds are absolutely stunning. So much is contained on them with so much to do, hot tub, sauna, outside pool, squash court, small workout area, lots of outside games....It was the perfect venue, traditional, well presented and very well thought out. We had the perfect venue for a large group of people to throw a gatsby party

What a long weekend at The Sheriffs, we. we’re a family of 16 people celebrating my wife’s 70 th birthday,the house is old and beautiful with plenty of room, a massive kitchen everything you need.The kids enjoyed the hot tub and we had trouble getting them out. The lawn outside is perfect for games or just relaxing under the trees. A large fridge and freezer so the beer never gets warm and the wine stays cool.The highlight of the trip was hiring Jamie Yardley and his team to do a full monty Sunday lunch for us. He is a top man and knows his trade he provided a meal that was truly exceptional He arrived set up cooked the meal ,cleaned up as well,you would not know he had been there.I would recommend him very highly.Well done Jamie and team.
This was a memorable occasion for my wife’s 70 th birthday and has given many memories for the memory box.

We had booked this property for a last minute weekend away. Wow, how lucky were we to find such a luxurious and high spec property.

Upon arrival the owner had provided us with some milk, bread, cheese, jams, gin, etc, all locally sourced.

The location of the property is great for walking and my young son thoroughly enjoyed running through the apple orchard.

We will be returning once lockdown is lifted.

Idyllic. Beautiful bedrooms with spectacular views. Loads of places to chill out. Kitchen in every corner - perfect for parties of 20 to 50 - corporate events, yogic retreats, weddings, big family gatherings. Set in the most spectacular countryside amid blackcurrant fields and cider orchards. The Stagg Inn is just up the road. What's not to like.

Fantastic place for a large family. Visited for a very special family occasion with a group of 12. More than enough to do on site with the pool, sauna, hot tub, table tennis and fabulous gardens. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful house and location, great for a family getaway!
Lots of flies buzzing around in The Lodge though, swatters and zappers were provided but it was fairly annoying at night...otherwise great!
