My daughters wedding was truly wonderful. Kim was helpful throughout, with several planning meetings in the lead up. My biggest anxiety was co-ordinating the components, but Kim was always there for us! She was super responsive to messages too. The venue on the day looked great, very clean and tidy with lawns and grass well prepared. Overall I couldn't have been happier. If I had a second daughter we'd be back like a shot!

Kim was fabulous from our first meeting, was so kind and warm and so helpful all the way through to our Big Day. Great Betley is a very special place and we knew as soon as we pulled up in the car that we had found our dream venue.
Kim went above and beyond to help and her and Vicki were amazing on the day with our last minute change of plans because of the weather.
We could not have found a better place or people to help us and we'll be forever grateful to them for helping us make our Wonderful Day so full of magical memories.

I just got married here a few weeks ago and had an amazing experience. Kim is an amazing host and really helped make my day truly magical. If you're looking for a DIY venue with all of the comforts as well (from camping in a field with us to staying warm and dry in the bed and breakfast for the parents) this is the place for you. I loved working with Kim throughout the whole process and I can't wait to go back and stay with her at her B&B sometime (maybe to celebrate our one year anniversary!).

We got married at Great Betley this summer and had a wonderful day. It is a beautiful location, and Kim and her team were so helpful in facilitating the set up and day itself, making sure that we had thought of all eventualities. She also has great contacts with the other providers which really helped make things run smoothly. Overall a fantastic experience!

We hired the beautiful Greatbetley farmhouse as our wedding venue in June this year. We visited the site in October 2021, and Kim was so thorough in explaining what we would have available as part of the package, very welcoming and so laid back in nature that before we left site we said 'yes please!' to having this as our wedding venue.

Kim proceeded to be so supportive in the whole wedding planning process, she held dates as we worked details with vendors, she was always responsive to emails; she was proactive in asking for vendor details to support their entry to site for set-up/take down; flexible in allowing us to create our own wedding vision and extremely hospitable during our stay from set-up to take down.

Kim even helped with suggesting vendors she knew of and were reliable!

We can't thank you enough Kim! We have a day that we will never forget !

Surreal experience getting to stay with your family and celebrate your wedding. The owner of the house is helpful in every way, she makes sure to make everything perfect. The facilities and details are topnotch! Had 2 events back to back, both turned out amazing.

We had the pleasure of working and staying at Great Betley Farmhouse in our role as wedding photographers. The hospitality and assistance Kim showed to us, the wedding couple and guests was much appreciated. Any future couples or guests would be very lucky to book here. We very much enjoyed our chats with Kim (and the dogs!) and she cooks up such a delicious breakfast. The grounds are peaceful and pretty.

5-stars all the way! We struggled for ages to find a venue was well-priced and allowed us the flexibility to have exactly the wedding we wanted. This place was a true gem in what is frankly a mind-bogglingly complex wedding venue world. Kim (the host) is amazing not only in the build and preparation of the event but also on the actual day. She helped with the big and small things and added a personal touch to our wedding that would be difficult to recreate at bigger venues. We had the most amazing wedding here and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for good value but excellent service.
