First tried this cider in Henley on Thames and it really hit the spot!
It is the most refreshing and lovely tasting cider I have ever tried, not too sweet, not too dry, just right.
Placed my first order on line when we got back to Yorkshire and will spread the news.
Ordering was straight forward and delivery was prompt and friendly. So happy to support a small family business.

I've tasted many different Ciders in the past 45+ years and hand on heart The General is without doubt the best by far, a unique proper Cider taste which I find very morish and an absolute pleasure to drink

Many thanks to all at Sandford Orchards for my first purchase and delivery (with many more to come), not forgotting a very prompt delivery service, all in all a first class product accompanied by a first class service, it's a well deserved 11/10 from me .

The General is the best cider I’ve ever tasted. While most pubs serve nothing more than alcoholic fizzy apple juice, Sandford Orchards are creating some amazing traditional ciders that put those factory ciders to shame. Keep up the good work! I just wish it was more easily available… Coop and some farm shops are the only places I can find it in East Devon.

Cider factory in crediton, they make quite a range of various different ciders, they have an on-site factory shop where you can take sample tasters before purchasing bottles of your choice. They also sell packs with a variety of different types so that you can try a range of ciders.

We visited the cidery on a Saturday morning and had a great experience. COVID safe. Got to sample a few ciders to work out what to take home with us. Friendly and knowledgeable colleague. Had a great chat! Venue also do pizza and have a bar are but those weren’t open when we visited. Steady stream of people visiting and you can place orders online for delivery so. Cider delicious and lots of different flavours to try.
