We booked Nick to cook for a group of 7 friends. Nick had excellent communication in the lead-up to the meal and was able to cater to our pregnant guests and any dietary requirements. Nick arrived on time and made a group of 7 women feel completely at ease from the start. The food was incredible, and Nick was not only a skilled chef but also a warm and engaging presence throughout the evening. Each course was beautifully presented and full of flavor, with something for everyone to enjoy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking Nick again for future gatherings!

We recently hired Nick to come and cater for my Dad’s 80th birthday party at a Manor House in Surrey. We were a group of 18 and the food Nick produced was absolutely delicious (we had a selection of canapés, scallop starter, lamb main and doughnut dessert). The presentation also immaculate and Nick and his team were a joy to deal with from start to finish. Thank you to you Nick and Luka for all of your help! We loved it 😃

Nicholas cooked for 6 of us for my wifes 30th in the Cotswold's, and it did not disappoint.

All 6 of us were blown away with the food, the XL King Prawn in shellfish cream was one of the best things I have ever tasted.

Nicholas also makes everyone feel super comfortable, which is brilliant when in a small group.

We will 100% be using Food by Hope again.

We treated ourselves to a dinner prepared by Chef Nick. Wow! The food was fantastic as was the presentation. Chef Nick was so much fun and created an unforgettable dining experience. While we were enjoying a glass of wine, we could smell all the fabulous aromas coming from the kitchen. We started off with five different canapes, all delicious and for a starter we were served lobster risotto which was delectable. The main course was aged fillet of beef with tasty sides. The dessert was a chocolate lovers dream. Chef Nick provided everything, including dishes and cutlery and a clean up afterwards. Thank you Chef Nick for making an amazing and unforgettable evening.

Nick and his team, Luca and Zee, provided a dinner party at our home for 25 friends and family.
What a brilliant evening !

From the moment our guests arrived they took over serving drinks and canapés and even taking peoples coats.
The dinner party food was amazing and Nick introduced each course with a few words.
The attention to detail was second to none.

Finally the team cleared everything away and left my kitchen clean and sparkling.

Such a great experience leaving us free to chat to our guests and enjoy the evening.

We booked Nick to cater for my sister's 50th birthday and 8 of us enjoyed a wonderful 3 course meal with canapés. Nick's food was absolutely delicious and all of our guests loved all the courses. Nick introduced each phase of the meal to us and this showed how much care, planning, attention and expertise he gives to each dish. He also sent us wine recommendations as pairings for our menu choices and it was such a special meal and event. Nick cleared up everything so beautifully too. Highly recommended!

Outstanding meal from Nick for a celebration for 14 people. Nick was exceptional at introducing his wonderful food to a group aged from 22-62. Great value for money and intend to book again in the very near future. Would highly recommend. Thanks from the Swanage crew
