Although not as big as expected there's a wide range of products on offer. We went for breakfast, lots of choice, and ordered poached eggs on toast. 3 of us had a lovely lunch at this little gem of a place. 2 of us had the Friday lunch special of beer battered haddock, which was delicious. The other had the pie of the day, which again was delicious. Now the reason why I only gave 4 stars, the menu on the website that we ordered the Friday special haddock which stated on the website menu that it came with a slice of bread and butter. It arrived without said bread and butter, I asked the waiter ( who I must add was very attentative and friendly), who said it didn't come with bread and butter.
On checking the website when I got home and the bill, it does state the Friday Haddock does come with Bread and butter and the prices are lower too. All daily specials show £9.95 when we were charged £14.95 for both of the fish. The pie is cheaper on the website menu too by a couple of pounds. We can afford the prices and the food and service were well worth the money, however some people are on a tight budget. Please make sure you update your website when you change your prices. It's things like this that can put people off returning.
We will definitely be back again soon.

Its all about quality here. A superb selection of groceries sourced from the best of local producers, and a fantastic restaurant serving delicious food all made from scratch. We had veggie sausage and mash and beetroot wellington, both were absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Considering the emphasis on quality, the food bill was good value for money.

Went for breakfast with our neighbours. This turned into brunch as our order didn’t arrive in the kitchen! We watched as people came and went. We were offered some free drinks whilst one of the ladies cooked our breakfast! The food was delicious, and luckily we like our neighbours so there was plenty of chatting.

So I love a farm shop, and followed this place all through its development, I was excited for a new farm shop but sadly the social media posts were indicating it wasn’t for me, I finally got round to going and the social media posts were accurate. It’s a lovely place but unless you’re using the restaurant you’ll be in and out in a flash, it’s a very small farm shop. There are a few interesting bits but nothing that I wanted to purchase. Unless it was because it was a Sunday the variety of cakes were sparse. The butchers is substantial, if that’s your thing. I entered via the rear car park entrance. There only appears to be one arrow into the car park resulting in a standoff with another car who was exiting the same way, I guess if you’ve been before you would know the exit and entrance were the same, but for first time visitors it’s not great.

Love this place, such a lovely atmosphere, not the cheapest but definitely get what one pays for. The butcher only sells the best meat etc., steaks are so succulent, Sunday joints are worth every penny! Breakfast at the cafe is a must…Dogs are welcome too. An all round great food and groceries selection. They sell a good selection of trees and plants all year round.

To see the transformation of this place…. Amazing. Everything has being careful considered and thought out. High quality produce and goods, friendly staff, bright and airy settings. Added surprise stocking Jeremy Clarksons Diddly Squat products, Hawkstone, Bee juice honey to name a couple. As a fan of the amazon series a very nice unique touch.

Cafe has a delicious selection of food, breakfast is tasty and the coffee is delicious. Well done all involved. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ highly recommend.
