Fantastic care farm open 2 days a week for those with mental health needs. They also hold open days through out the year. It is a new and developing business, have been to two open days and the improvements in infrastructure is obvious lots of hard work is being done on the farm. Absolutely loved the new toilet block clean, spacious esp the disabled loo. Lots of places around sight to wash hands after touching animals.

Open days are friendly, well organised with activities and interests for all ages. The animals are well cared for and my 9 year old loves the antics of Boris the naughty donkey. Each time we have been the food offered was delicious and not over priced. Eggs from their free range hens and home made jam are really tasty and we'll worth purchasing.

Looking forward to next open day

Lovely area to visit as a family. Lots to see and cuddle, feed and be able to attend special day activities during the week. Attended a wedding and the wedding lunch stayed for the celebrations and the party food was great. It is convenient to have a bar on site. Look forward to going again.

Comedy in a barn! Brilliant venue and excellent comedians. The barn served food and outside was a Bar tent.
Slightly chilly, even in June but blankets were supplied.
We will be back in August.

Visited the Askefield Project as part of a catch up with friends from Skegness. After travelling just over and hour and a half, We attended on a cold and wet December Saturday, however the Spirits of all who attended didn't match the weather. During our visit, we undertook several activities as a family, including clay making, biscuit decorating and colouring in - plenty to do for the children. We also completed the WhatThreeWords trail around the grounds giving us a great opportunity to see the good work undertaken here and visit the animals on site. The highlight of the day had to be the visit to Santa - obviously this was the real deal as his charisma and mannerisms all had the kids hooked on every word (someone give him a mince pie for his dedication)

Above all we wouldn't hesitate to visit again, however maybe during a slightly warmer time of the year.

This is a project which focuses on people's mental health. It is a working farm but there's lots more going on here including a garden to help with, and a man she'd where men can go along, make things and chill out. A truly great project that is much needed in communities now.

Attended an afternoon tea with ‘Boris’ the donkey, food was exceptional, using fresh local produce, hosts were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.
Definitely worth a visit if you want a different afternoon tea experience 👍
