I ordered from Wheatley's of Yorkshire for the first time last week, I can safely say the quality of the traditional Mead is excellent, easy to drink, perfect consistency and the flavour is second to none, really strong and smooth honey taste. The bottle design is also beautiful and as such has made a great gift for a friend. Couldn't recommend this company and their Mead any higher, definitely an upgrade on wine and more palatable than liqueur and spirits! I've found my new favourite alcoholic drink.

Fabulous service and arrived very well packaged. The Black Cherry Mead was for a birthday present and was greatly received. We all tried it were all in agreement that it tasted fantastic. It has a lovely deep black cherry flavour with a hint of vanilla and is extremely smooth on the palate, no sharp alcohol presence. Very easy to drink, would make a nice long drink with a mixer but my favourite way is poured straight over ice! Cheers!!

Mead is new to me and I am glad I have tried it. Wheatleys of Yorkshire provided a fantastic service from start to finish. It had been delivered to Somerset and very well packaged, so no breakages or spillages. Next, the presentation. The labelling is professional and smart, it looks like a premium bottle, but not at a premium price. The taste is amazing. I ordered some traditional and ended up loving it that much I bought the other fantastic flavours that Wheatleys have to offer. I will be buying some for Xmas presents as it is a special gift, for someone who loves mead or has never tried it.

This was my first purchase from Wheatley's and I have to say I am very impressed! The website is laid out well, very easy to navigate and gives lots of information. Delivery was quick and the bottles were very well packaged. The same attention to detail is given to the bottles, very well designed and looks great. Then the mead itself, so much flavour and perfectly done, I would give it a higher rating if I could. I also appreciated the handwritten note wishing a happy Christmas, sometimes it's the little details that set companies apart from the rest! I will definitely be a returning customer.

As my friends know I love my mead so it's fantastic to have a local distillery. I bought two bottles which have a lovely design and would make a nice present. I've only tried the hibiscus one so far which has a very nice flavour. Seems a good friendly business and would definitely order again.

I’m a Mead drinker, I’ve had mead from a few small companies in the uk over the years. I tried Wheatleys as it’s a new company and I like to support local and small.
I wasn’t disappointed, I went for the cherry and vanilla. It was good enough to look at ordering more after the first glass. Sweet and easy drinking, it’s full of flavour and a good mead to get open when you have company. The prices are very reasonable which is nice for current times. I know some companies charge more, perhaps they can defend their price but I do know this mead tasted every bit as delicious as it’s more expensive competitors. I’m looking forward to trying the other blends Wheatleys had to offer.
