Had the best stay in East rose, thank you to Debbie and Paul for the treats they left for us and being so lovely throughout our stay!
We absolutely loved every minute and didn’t want to leave, I couldn’t get enough of the alpacas.
We will be back in the summer, highly recommend!

Lovely place and the alpacas are gorgeous it's a working farm so there are other animals too although we didn't see many. Only downside for me was the welcome which was none existent. We kind of just stood around waiting for something to happen which was OK but a bit awkward with everyone else shrugging shoulders and not knowing where to go or what to do. Overall though, it was a good experience and we learnt a bit about the animals. There is a very small shop at the end with nice alpaca based products but get in there quick as there isn't a large amount of stock.

What an experience it was, I firstly contacted Debbie saying i was interested , she sent me some dates over, and i confirmed which date i would like,

I loved it!!! I was super excited!!

Paul took us to meet the male Alpacas, and we could choose who we wanted 😍. We all got a bag of carrots to feed the boys too, Paul then took us through their land and talked about the Alpacas from what they liked, disliked lots of interesting facts, we also got information about our own Alpacas from their breed down to where their name came from.

We also got to meet there other Alpacas, which were out in the fields along with their donkeys, goats, and chickens.
We were out for just over an hour, which was AMAZING!!!
lots of opportunities to take photos if you're like me!!
Then after the walk they have a little shack, which has some handmade stuff all made from the Alpacas wools from baby cardigans, hats, booties to adults hats, they even had fresh eggs 😍

I cant wait to go back again 💖

First morning here and I am blown away by the spectacular surroundings with hundreds of alpacas cared for by the very passionate pair of owners Paul and Debbie with best friend Jill. Our accommodation is top notch, best ever experienced with delightful extra surprises of freshly laid eggs and chocolates, carrots for the alpacas.. looking forward to feeding lambs. Local pub has lovely menu too.

My mam gifted me a voucher to walk the alpacas at Barnacre Alpacas for my 21st birthday in February and finally got around to visiting in December. We visited on a cold winter day but it was still an enjoyable experience and got to learn all about alpacas - I never knew a lot about alpacas before visiting the farm! My partner and I walked Delphic & Anubis. Loved seeing the range of alpacas, the goats and donkeys! Best way to get in touch to book up is via text.

Absolutely amazing place, with first class accommodation, if you want to stay. Debbie and Paul are excellent hosts; approachable, helpful...and what they don't know about alpacas isn't worth knowing!

An alpaca walk and talk with Debbie was enjoyable and educational...and if you've never been around alpacas before you really should do it. They are sweet, placid creatures that are just a pleasure to be near. Can't recommend Barnacre Alpacas highly enough...Just been back for yet another stay!
