Awesome home style cooked curry, some of the best we have had. I can highly recommended the Jalfrezi and Phaal, and at 3 for £10 whats not to like? Well worth a visit and stock up your freezer !!!!

Stumbled across this place by chance but they did not disappoint at all, and will be my regular whenever I visit Batley in future. If you are after quality, quantity, home made cooked food and pocket friendly food, look no further and try these guys. You can get 3 portions of freshly cooked curries for £10 and they will easily serve 5 to 7 people. Value for money and guaranteed to elevate your taste buds 😋.

Absolutely lovely shop and their lovely curry's are devine. Whatever you do, definitely buy their chapattis they are like the proper homemade thin one's, unlike the thick, solid one's you get in most if not all takeaways. Highly recommend this lovely little gem💎

Travel 10 miles just to go to this place . I like to spend £20 so I can stock up and freeze the curry for next time for my kids. They are good curries and kids won’t eat mine anymore. It’s Takeout only. Paya is very nice and within the 3 for £10 which is good

My parents love this place & on Sunday, my Dad asked myself & my wife round to their house for tea.

We went over to Barkat to pick up some curries & starters & spent just over £60. We got 12 curries, so many starters from chicken drunsticks, lamb ribs, onion bhaji, samosa & also plenty roti.

All the curries thsti tried were cooked & tasted beautiful.

The staff in the store are really happy & really friendly.

They have really gone down hill , you buy curries from there expecting a full portion. They reduced the size of portion to about half the amount of curries in the in there plastic containers and the charge you same money as before when they were serving you full plastic container of curry . What a con , rip off.

The prices at this place are brilliant. Honestly great food for the fraction of the price elsewhere. They do absolutely everything here from curries to biryani to burgers pastries etc.
