Park Farm kindly opened its doors to the public as part of the 2022 Open Farm Sunday. It was a great opportunity to be able to see what the farm does and to hear about farming life from the farmers themselves. We got a tractor trailer ride around part of the farm to see up close the crops they were growing and to hear about some of the complexities of growing them. It was fascinating for me but a bit long and boring for the children. I think subsequent rides were a bit quicker. There were some pigs to see which the farm provides bed and breakfast for as well as some sheep and a couple of horses. All in all it was an interesting visit and well worth going to. Thank you to the farm owners for opening up their farm and to LEAF for helping to organise it.
