I've just completed a house purchase through Anthony J Turner and couldn't be more impressed. I dealt predominantly with Ben, but the whole team are friendly, polite and professional. Phone calls and emails were answered very swiftly and queries chased up immediately. Ben was open and honest throughout and on several occasions helped to calm my nerves with his advice and actions. His knowledge of the local area is excellent, you can tell that Turners is a well established, family business. It's great to see an independent, local firm offering such a great service.

Fantastic service and support! We purchased a house via AJT - to say that they went above and beyond (particularly Ben and Stephen) would be putting it lightly.

We hit various challenges and road bumps along the way, at each step they were readily available to support, offer advice and guidance. We thought the whole process was going to fall down a few times - but they made sensible, pragmatic suggestions to keep things on track and nudge things in the right direction

It took quite a while, but we got there in the end!

Well.... I'm glad that other people have experienced a great service from this business.
Maybe they were buying or selling houses that were over 500 grand so worth more commission.

My experience has been:
They don't answer the phone, they don't reply to your requests to view a property. I would be furious if I was selling my house through them and they ignored potential buyers requests to view.
Even if an offer is in place for a property, it's polite to actually reply to someone, or even call them back when you say you will.
Alienating a large proportion of potential clientelle is bad form and really unprofessional.
So glad they're not selling my house!

Also; I have to add, that, noting their response to negative reviews from other people who have clearly experienced the same, is basically: "sorry but we're not sorry" or "well! how dare you say anything against us" or "so there! ner ner ner, ner ner!"
Gaslighting or sarcasm is concerning and a little childish.
Grow up! you're supposed to be a business, not 12 year olds in a playground.

If you don't like the truth, try doing a better job!

I recently purchased a home in the area through this estate agent and I would highly recommend their services based on my experience with them.
The staff were a energetic, helpful, proactive and always pleasure to deal with. They kept me informed at all stages of the process in a highly professional manner and provided support and advice during the inevitable bumps in the road.

They were actually the seller’s estate agent, but my experience buying through them was great and they deserve a good review. I needed to have access to the property either myself or contractors for quotes and surveys. They made it so easy to get and drop off keys the keys. I dealt with Ben and Dominic who were really helpful, not pushy, just friendly, chatty and helpful. Would recommend.
