Probably my favourite supermarket ale, the online delivery is sadly let down by poor quality packing. Insubstantial box and the inner baffle not used correctly. All the cans look like I bought them from reduced to clear, not suitable for gifts at all.

Usually top rate but somehow I ordered a can of Death by Orange Cream, Sour. Yuk. As a stout drinker, thus was never going to be good. Don't know how I even selected it. Such a waste. Sour, no body and just unappealing. Sorry. All been good up to now.

12/08/22: Hebden Bridge Ale Trail: Vocation are outstanding at brewing beer. When I say beer, I should state Craft Ales, Porters, Stouts, Sours and general Session Ales. They have catered and created something that everyone can find a favourite of. Part of our Hebden Bridge ale trail,wewent to the Brewery Tap on New Road, it was our first stop and for me, probably one of the best places in Hebden Bridge. We didn't sample any food, although the menu also looked impressive (burgers and fries). We drank Death by Cherries cherry sour, Life & Death Session IPA and Sunset Overdrive piña colada sour.

I have not ordered at Vocation directly (or even been there), but I found a "Heart & Soul" in a local shop in Hamburg, Germany. I instantly fell in love with this beer and I am looking forward to trying some of the other types if I can get hold of them. Or of yet another "Heart & Soul" 😉
