Groovy brewery with cool music and 1st time seeing the Baghdaddies and The crossings atmosphere was amazing beer was delicious and with the added Wood fired pizza made for a good night with friends.

Great taproom for one of the regions nest breweries. They have around 8 keg on, and two cask. All were their own beers. If I was being picky I'd like one or two guests on, not sure if they ever do. They also have a fridge with cans, both their own and a few from other breweries. I couldn't see any prices for cans in the fridge which would have been useful. They also have a few soft drinks which I thought were expensive (£2.50 for a small bottled apple juice) albeit they were premium brands. The seating is fairly typical brewery tap room wooden benches with seating available both inside and outside. The outside area has a canopy to offer shade/shelter if needed. There were four unisex toilet cubicles outside which were constructed in a container unit but immaculately clean and maintained. They were selling gourmet scotch eggs and pork pies on my visit, along with usual crisp offerings. A food truck was also setting up outside so I assume it varies what offering comes in the truck on any given day. There is plenty of free on street parking right outside, or the metro is just under ten minutes walk away so it is easily accessible. Well decorated with the typical two by two artwork and the brewery tanks are literally there to add to the feel. There's a couple of very minor things that I'd improve but they are trivial really and don't detract from a great venue. Definitely be back.

In the area for a business trip and had some cask beers, in the pubs in the centre. I had to look into the brewery as they were so good, and as luck would have it, they have a great taproom, serving cask and keg within walking distance of the city centre.

Surprising little tap room in the brewery in the middle of Byker! Nice and warm inside even though the tap room is within the warehouse. DJ playing a few funky tunes and a nice little selection of two by two beers, as well as wine if you want it. There was a food van there too when we were there. Will definitely be visiting again!

I spent an evening there and I loved everything about this place. Fantastic beer! Good atmosphere. It's great to drink beer whilst sitting next to the brewing vessel it was made in.

When I’m in Newcastle a visit to Two by Two is always on my list of things to do.
So yesterday after walking the section of the England Coastal Path from Sunderland to South Shields, my wife and I were in need of rehydration and we knew exactly what to go.
We arrived just after five and it was nice to see the tap room pretty busy but with seating still available. As with previous visits the beer didn’t disappoint. A nice range at reasonable prices, served by friendly staff.
Yesterday along with our beers we ordered a pizza from Trigo Wood Fired Pizzas and it was outstanding. It could possibly be the best pizza that I’ve ever eat.
Unfortunately, we only had time to stay for a couple of beers as we had one more place we wanted to visit before catching our train home.
Overall Two by Two is a great brewery/tap room, which serves tasty beers at a reasonable price.
Hopefully my next visit will be pretty soon.
