Yes! The perfect butcher's shop! Taking high quality meat, dry-aging it for a good amount of time (but not too much), and then skilfully butchering them into attractive steaks. Simple, but rare.

I'm a huge fan of steak and steak cookery, but I don't do it very often so when I do it I want it to be perfect, and the team here were patient and helpful with me and my indecision.

The pork and lamb looked equally as delicious. They have an amazing beer and wine selection, and top veg choices too. And northern rye sourdough! I think I've found my heaven, and it's in Heaton. Can't wait to go back.

Lovely little shop, friendly guys. We got a few different things including middle cut bacon, hot Italian sausage, guanciale, some beers and a sweet chilli mango sauce.

Middle cut bacon was perfect, the sauce...gorgeous.

The hot Italian sausage was tremendous! I'm not a massive fan of sausages but these were on a different level. They should be award winning. Absolutely stunning. We will be back.

The quality of the beef completely exceeded my expectations. The steak had a nice marble with an even better colour and when I cooked it to a medium-rare the sear was lovely. The staff were friendly. If you haven't already you should give this place a try.

After watching The Hairy Bikers Best of British visit this butchers shop, I decided to give them a try. So far I've tried the bacon, belly pork and pork pies. Absolutely stunning is an understatement. Please give them a try. Their produce and customer service are first class.

Fantastic butchers, I highly recommend! I went in after some Italian products and was surprised to find more than what I was after! I got guanciale as I’ve been after it for ages and was shocked to see finocchiona in the fridge. The quality of the meat is amazing! You must visit.

Fantastic service, trimmed and prepped a beautiful cut of fillet after my specifying it was for a Wellington. Results were fantastic.

To top it off, had some great draught beer while it was being prepped. What an amazing store 🙂
