I pop in here regularly on my lunch break as my office space is super close by.
Such a little treat to get to see the animals on my lunchtime walk.

I've eaten in the cafe once and it was pleasant. Very wholesome little farm.

Great day out for children and adults alike. Cafe is lovely with great food and fantastic staff. A variety of animals including pigs, goats sheep and an adorable cow . There are activities for children to take part in. Admission is free but donations are welcome

The cafe is brilliant. The food is thoughtful and delicious decent portions and fairly priced. Service is welcoming and attentive.

The farm itself is small and perfectly formed. The animals are healthy and happy looking and everything is so clean. What a brilliant place 👏

Love this place, I can't actually believe it is free. An amazing asset to the community. Kids loved exploring and rambling around. It is compact but easily enough to keep kids entertained for 30+ minutes. The animals are treated well and there's info shared throughout. Amazing - gems like these create a community! 🌟

Lovely little farm. Great for children as a short visit. Not very big but quite a lot of animals there. Snakes, parrot, turtles, ducks, chicken, sheep, goats, cow…bought a pack of sheep snacks for my child to feed the sheep. Good for an hours stay.

We visited the cafe for the first time and were not disappointed! A lovely warm welcome from Lewis who was very helpful and told us about the Ouseburn Farm Charity while showing us to a table.

The food was great! We had our dog with us and we didn’t have to ask for some water for him, it was brought straight over. The waiter who took our order also suggested a doggy breakfast which Finn loved!

Great menu and lovely staff, we will be back!

Ouseburn Farm Charity Ltd is a small hidden gem, perfect for a day out with loved ones. The farm offers a delightful array of livestock including bulls, poultry, pigs, rabbits, goats, and sheep, as well as charming small birds and animals like snakes, rats, tortoises, and more. Their well-maintained gardens, complete with a polytunnel and glasshouse, showcase a variety of kitchen plants available for purchase, adding an interactive element to the visit. The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, making it a pleasant experience for all. It's definitely worth a visit, especially on weekends, for a wholesome and enjoyable outing

What a delight! It’s right there in Ouseburn, it’s free and a great asset to the community.
It’s very compact! The garden section-think veg garden rather than a park garden - uses every available bit of space.
There’s also a great farmyard section with pigs, sheep, goats and an enormous and very placid cow. Just further on there are running ducks and variety of hens.
I didn’t get the chance to go in the cafe but I gather it’s very popular!
If you are visiting from the centre of the city, and walking, plan in some other visits as there is quite a steep climb heading back up towards the Biscuit Factory etc
