Purchased 2 Border cuckoos, to complete our small flock and they are wonderful the girls are so full of character and have settled in well.Had a problem with one of our original girls and Grant and Clare were extremely helpful. Their advice solved the problem. Recommend highly

Ordered a turkey, which was delivered Christmas Eve morning, as planned. Boxed up with all the trimmings. 7k bird, just got it in the oven. 😆 It was beautiful and moist. I'll buy again.

Bought 6 brown hens at point of lay yesterday from Grant. 6 eggs today! Hens are all in tip top condition and are very easy to handle and not flighty in the slightest. Shields farming were recommended to me by numerous people and I can say I'm glad I took the advice of those people as I couldn't be happier with my new hens. Would highly recommend.

I get my eggs from here every week fab service, all you have to do is email if you want to change the order.
This year I also got my Christmas Turkey which was a large one (6.5 kg). I can honestly say this was the best one we have ever had. It was so moist and didn't dry out for left overs either. We will definatly be buying from here again.

Bought some hens from Grant early this year 16 in total and I am pleased to say they have never let me down average 13 eggs a day.

Have been ordering eggs for some time now,
Craig always friendly and chatty, eggs lovely
Make a good breakfast better.
Ordered a Turkey butterly for christmas discussed with Craig best size for 14 people
He came on the 23rd of December,the bird was all wrapped up in a lovely carry box, cant fault the quality and the service this young man provides,.Turkey was beautiful nice and moist and enough space to pack in sausage meat.
My youngest sister has never been an advocate of fresh Turkey, but now wouldn't
Buy anything else ,so she will order next year
Keep up the excellent work, time to relax now

Had some excellent hens this year from Shields Farming Co. Ltd! In April I bought:

3 Black Rock
2 Border Blue
2 Northumberland Blue
2 Border Sussex

They have so far laid excellent, some great egg colour variations. Some nice pink is from the Border Blue and lighter from the Sussex with some various shades from the Black Rock. The Northumberland Blues are special... that a lovely blue egg!

Even I have had 3 TRIPLE yolkers from one of the Sussex... I've never had one of those before & this year 3!

Overall very nice strong birds with excellent egg quality and quantity. I used to just get the standard browns but now my main birds in my flock will be birds like these however I will always keep a few browns in my flock 🙂
