I would rate it 0 stars if I could. They looked after a property , said they got the repairs carried out and it turns out they didn't even earth the plugs . That was one of many repairs paid for and upon further inspection they just literally papered over cracks . After paying for their 'repairs' , I've now had to fork out over 10 grand repairing what they said they had done. Including whole new rewire and plastering a d redecorating (after their sparky had signed the paperwork saying everything was fine ) .

Excellent Service -Best local agent by a mile! 6 years ago a friend recommended MRA property to me and I have stayed with them ever since. The staff have a very professional yet friendly approach to the business. They are extremely flexible with the services they offer and I am always completely satisfied that the tenant find process is carried out to the highest level. MRA had a list of potential tenants waiting for properties in my area which was fantastic because my property was only empty 3 weeks . As well as all of that the price is competitive to. Take the advice I was given and give them a try you won't be disappointed.

I rented a flat from MRA in South Shields and did not really like the neighbours, the flat was fine and had no issues, so I moved to another flat that was also one of theirs in another part of town. This flat was brilliant for me, and all the issues that needed dealing with were dealt with swiftly to a good standard. I had redecorated my sons room in a kids theme and was advised on leaving to put it back to a neutral colour in order to get my deposit back. I did so, and got full deposit back despite usual minor wear and tear. I would rent from these guys again any time!

I have now had my property rented through MRA for 4 years and have found them extremely helpful and professional. I have had 2 tenants so far and shortly will have my third. MRA have been extremely diligent and timely in finding new tenants and any issues arising during the tenancy have been dealt with quickly and efficiently.

The last few years have been absolutely shocking service whenever the property needs any repairs...contractors never turn up, and the ones that do have nothing positive to say about working with MRA. Whether it's calls or texts or emails the issues take dozens of attempts and typically months for progress if I'm lucky enough to get any at all with some over a year and still not fixed. It's a shame as when I first moved into a property nothing was too much for them and the service was great but sadly this is no longer the case.

Never would I use MRA again! We had problems at the start when they kept asking for our deposit and guarantor even though we had paid, I should have known then. Our landlord was great thank God we kept in contact with her as MRA took weeks to sort things out. When we moved out we left the house immaculate the landlord even message and thanked us for doing so. We requested our deposit as we didn't realise we had to use it for the last month rent meaning we had overpaid by a month. Two months later. That's right TWO MONTHS LATER still no cheque after ringing, going in asking and they said 'it was because the boss wasn't in to sign the cheque.' So after ringing the start of this week and threatened to take it to a small claims court they amazingly managed to sign the cheque that afternoon. We went and picked it up and deposited it into the bank and they added an administration & vat fee meaning we lost £60 of our deposit. Furious isn't even the word. I would recommend avoiding this company with a barge pole. Unfortunately there is a lovely lady who works in the office that would bend over backwards but the negatives massively outweigh the cons. But apart from herself the service and attitude both myself and my partner received was appalling!

I used MRA to manage 2 of my properties in the UK. They took money for repairs which they never actually carried out, worse still they mis managed one of my houses by not screening the tenant properly - I ended up with a drug addict, who later returned to the house and wrecked it. I finally removed them as the letting agent and now look after the properties myself with great success and wonderful tenants.

To add insult to injury, the owner of this company was extremely rude to me and took zero responsibility for his actions or those of his staff. Avoid like the plague - they are bad news to say the least.

One star is far too much to be honest. Rented a property from MRA a few years ago. Absoloutly shocking they are! Problem after problem with the property and not a great deal done to amend the issues on their behalf. Avoid at all costs.
