I have used this butcher on a number of occasions and everything I have had has been fantastic. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality meat. They are creative and offer meat packs and various offers for significant dates such as a father's day pack.

Everything I have had from here has been excellent, it’s cheaper per kilo than local supermarkets, and it’s great to see a family run small business in the area.

Their burgers are white in colour and bulging with fat. Was told there is only 20% fat in the burger but on cooking a sea of grease poured out of them. It's not value for money when the burgers cost £1.70 but it's mostly fat, and on eating you can't taste much flavour of the meat, just excess grease. Sausages are finely ground and decent. 2 stars

Ordered a Christmas meat box. The boned and rolled turkey breast was the best I’ve ever had. Much better value and quality than the M&S I bought last year. Can’t wait to try the beef and gammon. So pleased with my purchase, highly recommended.

Not impressed with this purchase, Bought 2.2 kg of what was meant to be trimmed brisket and 0.5 kg each of pork shoulder and pork belly. total weight 3.2 kg. This was to make sausage that requires no more than 30% pork fat. Photo shows what I ended up with. the brisket when unrolled was dog meat. Never again. 1.5 kg of sausage cost me £32. Disgusting.

I bought some lamb racks for a special occasion crown roast and all agreed about the best we had ever tasted. Tender but super tasty. The bacon is also excellent, no water comes out and it is thick and delicious. The butcher himself could not have been nicer nor more helpful. Many of us in Crediton are driving to The Butchery now.

Popped in here as could not find butcher's twine anywhere and wanted to see if I could purchase some. Gentleman at the counter didn't hesitate to offer some for free but I was still keen to put something in the til. Saw some pork and leek sausages calling out my name. Enjoyed just about the best sausage sarnie I've ever had.

Cannot believe it took me over a year to find this gem so close. The Old English Pork sausages..brilliant. Sirloin steaks, great and tender medium rare.....homemade burgers, superb and the lamb and mint fantastic. When cooked, fat oozes out. Not water or whatever other substances go in supermarket meat. Yuk. New regular for sure!
