We cooked them up on the BBQ, amazing. Super super tender, full of flavour, what more could you want?

I’m not usually one for negative reviews however on my return to this farm shop after giving them the benefit of the doubt from my first visit was greeted with the same totally disinterested staff, miserable and unhelpful, running my own business I find this negativity towards paying customers wrong as it’s tough for most small businesses at the moment so all custom should be welcomed. The produce was good but doesn’t warrant a return

Came here once at the start on January for two steaks for a date night. As soon as I tried them I cancelled that weeks online food shop and now all of my meat has been bought from here. Can definitely tell the difference between this meat and the stuff they sell you at the supermarket. No water, no chemicals and much fresher. They were even nice enough to give me some free haggis last time I went in. Definitely the best butchers in the north west, and worth the 90 minute round trip to get there. On the reviews you can see they had some problems a few years ago but doesn’t every small business, great to see how they’ve turned it around

Second order arrived yesterday, we've just polished off a dinner using a chicken with plenty of leftovers. All great quality meats, Can't wait to try the minute steaks at the weekend, they look so good.
No more supermarket rubbish in this house. 👍

Bought some shoulder of pork and some belly pork for a Greek family souvlaki bbq yesterday. (The Greeks are very particular about their souvlaki! 😂)
The meat was outstanding!!!! It cooked so well on the rotisserie and was not dry/tough. It was perfect and so succulent and tasted beautiful! Definitely quality meat.
The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Watching the butcher bone and cut the meat was wonderful. Such an art!
Thank you Cheshire Butchers!! I was rated 5⭐️ from my Greek family lol.
Highly recommend this lovely farm shop and will be back very soon.

Not sure on the girls name who “served” us (tall with blonde hair) but she was incredibly rude. Didn’t say hello, please or thank you. Walked over to us waiting to pay and was so rude and abrupt. She didn’t say bye or even speak to us really, just put the price in the card machine and pushed it towards me. For the price you pay for the meat etc you would expect good customer service. It was our first time visiting after driving past and wanting to pop in. We were looking forward to it but felt very dissatisfied with the service.

Trade descriptions alert.
After dieting for 6 months to beat Diabetes and hitting my targets, I felt I deserved a decent bacon butty. So scouring the web to find someone selling decent bacon, ie not pumped full of water, I happen across the Cheshire Butcher.
So journeying a 25 mile round trip to get some hopefully lovingly cured bacon…this.
Me, ‘so you cure the bacon yourselves’?
Butcher, with a snort, ‘no, not anymore’.
Me. 😱
Check out the web page snap just taken. It does not matter if the bacon is actually any good, it is a betrayal.

Nice meat from here, really enjoyed the Himalayan salt aged T Bone, and the pork chops were excellent too. Quick delivery if you order online as well.
