Highly recommend the table loaf, leek butter brioche and sausage roll!! They have a great selection of natural wines. We love coming here, lovely surroundings, great atmosphere both in the day and at night. It’s a lovely touch that they use hand crafted crockery. Good with allergies. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Went for the small plates in the evening. In such a small place it was every bit as good as the top small plates resraurants in manchester. The wine is lovely too.

Came here for their lunch offerings and it was absolutely delicious! They only have a few sandiwch options so be sure to grab them early as they are really special. The bread is not like anything I have had before and the veggie offering on the day was a fava bean spread and tomaotoes which were incredible. The batch brew coffee was also very nice from All Caps roastery. The space inside is pretty small, probably seatin for around 20 people at a push but worth the wait for a seat. Will defiently be going back again!

We had a wonderful evening meal at Yellowhammer. The ambiance was lovely: soft candlelight, laughter and chatter and very attentive and knowledgeable staff. The small plates were a delight: we tried everything on the menu and it was all beautifully presented, original and delicious. The moist sourdough, mackerel dauphinoise and clementine cake were my favourites but there were excellent cheeeses and wines too.
We were unfortunately only in Stockport 48 hrs but returned the following morning for coffee( v.good), chocolate brioche and leek butter brioche, when the space was in bakery mode.it was such a treat and we are envious of those who live locally and can visit often. A big thumbs up to the Yellowhammer staff!

I think yellowhammer is my new personal favourite. I have been a few times now and I am always impressed.

The dishes are simply amazing and always changing with the season.

The choice of wines are excellent.

The ambience is spot on as is the service.

There wasn’t really much choice on the counter, and the Rye Cookie I got seemed small considering the price. The salty taste was overwhelming.

I had dinner here last night. It's not a huge restaurant, but the food is excellent and the restaurant is full of character. The menu is handwritten and changes every week. Nice wines. Staff were very welcoming.
