Rude member of staff. Refused to take gloves off to use touchscreen device. So stood there making everyone wait while she pressed frantically at the screen. When it finally got to my turn was told £5 minimum spend on card, no signage anywhere and I'd been waiting 5mins. Was asked sarcastically "oh you don't want them then" someone else piped in too. Not getting my money.

I am a regular at Unwins, their produce is always fresh and of excellent quality. The staff are always helpful and friendly. In particular Gail, who goes out of her way to make sure I am well looked after, as I can be unsteady on my feet. She is an asset to Unwins.

Great variety of produce. Fair prices. Would like to see more fairly traded options of produce.

Would have been 5* However, last time we came, we wanted cucumber, and every single one was mushy, and it put me off.

The staff is friendly. The lovely lady at the till today helped me lift the Pram out as they have a step so you would struggle if you're disabled or with a Pram on your own. It's a small shop fresh fruit and veggies. Do expect to pay way more than in the supermarket. Peppers not great and a bit overpriced. Strawberries didn't have a label. I did buy some but unsure where they come from plus maybe would be better in the fridge rather than outdoor on a sunny day. They do sell eucalyptus and can wrap a bouquet if flowers if you wish.

I go in and like that fact it is an independent grocer and the large choice of fruit and veg which is fresh and seasonal. If some of the staff were friendlier that would be good. Today I went in and not even a thank you to me for buying stuff and yet very friendly with people who were served after me. Not sure why. It has put me off. All customers deserve a friendly service and for a shop where goods are slightly more expensive than the supermarket across the road - it’s essential.

Love this place. The staff are always so helpful and friendly. It's great that we can support such a local business. The quality of the fruit, veg and flowers is top notch. Also great for an Xmas tree 😎

I would normally give this shop a five star review, but I went in today and felt unsafe. They are allowing six people at a time into this small shop. With two girls on the tills and one putting veg on the shelves, that's a total of nine people in a very small space. Please sort this out Unwins. A maximum of two customers should be implemented, immediately, otherwise you will be losing my custom, at least for the time being. I don't mind queuing outside, I much prefer that to the anxiety I felt today.
