Amazing quality. Flavour of the beef rib like nothing I've had before. Cannot recommend highly enough. Really helpful staff with lots of tips for prep and cooking.

When travelling the UK looking for pubs we like to buy thin pork sausages from proper and traditional butchers. Casta also loves to try the pork pies, bacon etc. The pies and bacon were yummy. Great white pudding and tastey black pudding. The sausages very good but not up to our all time favourites. ( Dales in Kirkby Lonsdale, Watson's Farm shop in Hope and Huddleston in Windermere.) Must try harder! Did not pluck up the courage to buy Pluck!

Went there this morning 2nd January 2025.
Asked for 4 Cumberland sausage, got home and only 3.
3 chicken breast 675g was charged £14. Thats £23 a kilo for chicken.
1st time there, never going again.

I rang to order my meat for beef wellington in advance and it was there waiting for me when I arrived. What a fine piece of beef - melt in your mouth. Great butchers - thanks so much

These are some young friendly lads running a good honest business! But they know there market.. lol Good quality meet, some of the best I've had but for a high price! I would recommend going for that perfect cut for those special occasions.

I bought some chicken thighs about a month ago. I opened the bag two days later and they were rotten. Very discoloured and stank the house out. I emailed to give feedback as mistakes happen and didn't even get an acknowledgement. Poor

Brilliant butchers - burgers were excellent & steak cuts were some of the best I’ve had. Lovely cheese & deli selection too
