I stopped in the shop today & I was able to purchase herbs to make my own herbal tea. Some weren’t stocked but the gentleman found it in the back & weighed it out for me which was super helpful. I also purchased some green tea from this location & it is super refreshing. For all your spiritual needs this is a hidden gem of Middletown. They have tea, incense, sage, crystals, herbs, jewelry, etc. They also do tea tastings on Saturday’s I believe, I will be purchasing my herbs from here instead of purchasing online if it is available. Just an FYI cash is king but if you don’t have it then use debit because credit cards will add a 4% fee fyi!

Just started working in the area and while having some down time I stubbled upon this shop ...and boy am I glad I did!!! The girl that runs this place and makes the homemade hair scrunchies and other assortments is such a delight! She is always happy and I love supporting a local gal! Us Delaware girls gotta support each other! I'm always happy to come in and make a purchase. Can't wait til I have some extra cash again and can get more things 🙂

I loved this store so much I would definitely go back. The Knowledgeable and friendly staff helped me purchase a bunch of herbs for my nutrition class. They also directed me to a nice farmers market in the area for the few things they did not have. Businesses helping businesses is so nice. The gift shop is so quirky and cute and the teas are fabulous. If you are in the area definitely head into purple sage.

I visited Purple Sage during their most recent Tea Tasting event they have every month.

The staff was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out several teas to try. Before I went in, I had a favorite English Breakfast tea that I liked. It was the freshest and best tasting tea I could get without getting actual fresh tea leaves from a shop like this.

I have been spoiled now with great tasting teas =). I don't like all of the ones I picked out, but that is just due to personal preference and taste. Several of their recommendations are on my top list. I will be returning for larger quantities now that I've narrowed down what I like.

TlDr: Excellent shop with a lot of choices - Very friendly and helpful staff - The Tea is very fresh - Excellent prices. Definitely a place to visit.

P.S. Bluebells is my new favorite Black Tea - Try it.

Not only is the best tea around to be found there. They staff is really helpful and think outside the box. I came there with a very unusual request and the young lady working there truly made my day. I took her advice and purchased what was suggested and it worked out wonderfully.
I will continue going there for all my tea and fragrance needs! This place is awesome I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Went to buy some loose leaf tea and they were extremely nice, helpful and knowledgeable. They had everything I needed to start drinking loose leaf again. I bought 7 or 8 varieties and they are all delicious. I much prefer buying tea here rather than online.
