I visited Launde Abbey for 5 days and the food was great and staff were really attentive and helpful. The bedroom was simple but comfortable. The grounds were a highlight with views of sheep, a vegetable garden and the Quiet Garden.
As a wheelchair user it was possible to get to most places in the building, but this often required going a different route to the rest of my group and sometimes needed me to exit the building and re-enter using a different entrance with ramp (in the Stables to get from the meeting room to the chapel)

A beautiful & silent space to wander. Wonderful food in the coffee shop, gorgeous chapels with an incredible sense of the Holy Spirit & lovely staff. Wander at leisure or book a residential retreat. Something for everyone.

Called in today for a look and a coffee , what a beautiful setting for what I can only imagine is a truly magnificent place for quiet contemplation, prayer and thought, the coffee was well worth the visit and the carrot cake excellent. I wish I had taken more photographs to better show the surroundings. We will return for afternoon tea and complete my photos.

A beautiful house set in equally beautiful countryside. The food was very good, especially at breakfast, although portions at other meals were healthy rather than generous! A great place to come to be quiet, and find spiritual refreshment.

Magnificent tranquility ...the quietness gives "you time" with fabulous views at this beautiful Christian retreat ...Lots of caring staff and magnificent choices of meals and wonderfully cooked ..staff go out there way to make you feel welcome at this beautiful Abbey

Love the tranquility of Launde Abbey. Great food, lots of walking available, friendly and welcoming. Even the roads as I drove there have lovely rural Leicestershire views. My room was comfortable, if a bit warm, but I just turned down the radiator.
