What a wonderful day we had with Jason, the family and little Odin the dog. Nice group of people along for the bee experience.

We were taught everything about the different bee types, the hives inhabitants, breaking down and rebuild of the hive, and everything in between, then onto a lovely lunch spread for a little break, candle making with bees wax which was a nice touch and lovely souvenir. Then we all put on the bee keeping suits to head out and see live working Honeybee hives.

We came away with lots of gifts, loads more knowledge and keen to start our own hive... thank you all so much, truly a memorable day 💖

Myself and a friend thoroughly enjoyed our Bee Keeping Experience. I surprised my friend for her birthday and it was one of the most memorable days we have done together. I learnt so much. As well as offering great communication with our booking.Jason was very informative and I left with a head full of knowledge. Of course the best part of the day was actually visiting the hives. I highly recommend this experience and wouldn't hesitate to return. The candles on sale smell amazing too! The honey you get to take home pairs perfectly with some goats cheese amongst others

Done my bee keeping experience today with Jason, which was absolutely amazing!

Great communication throughout the booking process and leading up to the event.

Arrived at the Lodge for the start of the experience, was greeted by Jason and helped ourself to a hot or cold drink.

Once everyone had arrived we started the experience , going through the different species of bees, and a talk about the Asian Hornet which is dangerous for the honey bees.

We talked about the suits, hives and tools used on the hives for maintaining the frames and hives.

We then did some candle rolling with some bees wax.

We were then served our buffet lunch. A selection of wraps, sandwiches, crisps, cocktail sausages and quiche.

After we had eaten, we suited up and walked over to the lake where two hives were waiting for us.

Jason lit his smoker and got to work separating the hive. We started off looking for the queen bee on both hives in the brood, but they were both very elusive today. Jason explained the different stages within the frames of the brood, we then moved onto the supers where the frames contained the honey. Again we went through the process of the worker bees going out and bringing back the pollen.

Overall it was an amazing experience and would highly recommend to anyone! A very enjoyable experience.

Thank you Jason!

Can't recommend Jason and his team highly enough. We had a bees nest in our chimney stack, once scaffold was erected Jason part demolished the stack to get to the nest. He undertook this with great skill and care removing the bees (with queen) and all the nest, once finished he secured a tarpaulin to protect the exposed brickwork ready for our builders to come in to demolish remaining stack and rebuild.
Jason and his team provided a very professional, expert and reliable service. He has now re-homed the bees to an orchard in Kent which we were delighted to hear.

We recently used Arms Apiaries ( Jason Arms) for a honey bee removal from our chimney, we could not be more pleased, we are now one week after removal and NO bees 🐝 flying around our chimney as before. Jason did an excellent job, removing the bees, and re homing them to continue to do good work for the environment. Cleaning out the honeycomb, and debris from the chimney, and then project managing the whole process, of scaffolding, new chimney pot installation, chimney stack repointing, and replacing 36 roof tiles ( due to storm damage)
3 chimney’s swept all carried out in a very professional manor.
Jason is a very pleasant man, and no job to difficult. Having taken all the worry off our shoulders, for such a big project.

Been a Manuka user for a number of years and questioned why I was doing that. Researched for a local Apiary and found Arms Apiaries. Placed a small 3 x 240grm order and had it personally delivered to me a couple of days later. Really like the quality of the honey, I love their service and it's great to support the local Honey Bee Farmer. Highly recommend.
