Large centre. We had lunch at the cafe.

Staff were polite, friendly and helpful.

Food

Wood tasted of quality but my burger was poorly put together. It had a soggy bun and the bun was too small. Chips were lovely and golden.

Why when people are paying this money do you have tacky sauce sachets? Environmentally it makes no sense and I got sick of empty satchels blowing about.

Overall all ok.

Great strawberry picking and very dog friendly.
Staff were lovely and the strawberries were very good, took my Grandma and dog here and we all had a great time. I would recommend.

What a wonderful place! I only wish that we had somewhere like this near our home in East Yorkshire! I wandered round here with my baby whilst the rest of the family were canoeing and I’m so glad I did! What a gem.

My friend, our 2 dogs and I stopped at this gem of a place, for lunch, on our way to a weekend away on the Norfolk coast.....
Our lunch was delicious and we purchased some cakes for the weekend (everything was so reasonably priced as well)!
Then, to top it off, the PYO strawberries were ready to pick.....they were AMAZING and again, very reasonably priced.

We were invited by friends to attend a "Burger Night" at Vera's Coffee Shop set within the garden centre.

Google maps was spot on and there was plenty of space in the car park.

Pre-booking is essential with an upfront deposit required of £10 per person along with the food order for the evening. The event was fully booked!!

Having been shown to our table in the very spacious dining area we were invited to select our drinks which arrived very quickly. As the food had been pre-ordered it did not take that long to arrive.

I went for the steak burger with bacon and fried egg, chips and coleslaw. It was one of (if not THE best burger I had ever eaten. The meat was tender and just melted in the mouth!! For dessert I had ordered the pancakes with chocolate sauce and ice cream. Absolutely delicious!! I was struggling to finish towards the end but persevered!!

The service was friendly, polite and efficient.

The bill worked out (with drinks) at just over £30 per head. Very reasonable for a "special" evening!

I would highly recommend going to one of these events that are held about once a month.

An excellent garden centre, farm shop and pick your own. Found accidentally via sat nav! Husband loves real cider and they had all the local ones in bottles much to his delight. Plants were great and not your usual run of the mill selection. Enough to get a seasoned gardener excited to buy some. Son was pleased to pick his own strawberries. Fruit and veg looked good, a nice selection of gifts etc. A top class place, well thought out and looked after, highly recommended.

We went to check out the restaurant, we took our dog to see if she behaved herself. Dogs catered for, they even went and fetched her a fresh bowl of water. Food and drink very good, service very friendly and helpful. We will be back again.
