We had a great experience. All the dairy was fresh and the menu is great. The scones are a must try. The cream was so fresh and tasted like heaven.

This is a fantastic cafe, absolutely love the setting on the farm. Food was fantastic, service was super! There was ample parking and there even is an AED which is brilliant. They have an amazing history, run private functions and of course you can purchase milk from them, so support local! Highly recommended

Christmas Eve breakfast 2024 will unfortunately be the last time after 5 years that we visit you. We were not aware when booked that it was only Buffet breakfast. On arrival we were made aware and at no point did anyone ask if there was any dietary issues. Three people in are party are vegetarians on arrival at the buffet there were no vegetarian options- we had to ask and were given two vegetarian sausage. Food was cold, orange juice was watered down scrambled eggs milky and tasteless coffee and tea cold. Such a shame as another tradition that we do as a family and to support local has come to an end. £15 per person for the above was not worth the pennies. Hugely disappointed

Went to the area rooms for breakfast. Having previously had afternoon teas that were lovely, we have to say that we were bitterly disappointed with the full breakfast.

Mushrooms that were obviously old prior to cooking, and tasted of rubber. Eggs that had solid yolks and dripping in oil, bacon that had been cooked at some point that morning, then reheated so was as tough as rope. Sausages that are poor quality with minimal meat content and 2/3rds of normal butchers sausages, plus they’d been in an oven for the last few hours. Baked beans that were the cheapest available, watery and numerous black beans in. Toast - supposed to be a sourdough, but it looked and tasted as if it had seen 30s under the grill. To top it off, all of the sauces were Heinz etc, except for the brown sauce. Just cheap sachets that were not expected considering the cost of the food (£14 for one breakfast).

When the staff collected the half eaten plates (no chance of getting asked if the food was okay!), nothing was mentioned. Even when we said the food was not good, nothing mentioned.

Not a great day for the Tea Rooms.
