Pies are amazing! Also got sausages at the same time however they wasn’t the best. The casings used are tough, they just don’t pop the same. The casing feels like it’s a synthetic skin instead of the original casings that you’d expect.

OMG what's happening to Cottoms butchers. I understand that it's under new management everything keeps changing I've lived in St Helens for 62 yrs and our family has always bought in bulk from sausages to hot pots, pies , sausage balls, excectra pastry has been changed on pasties,pies and hot pots bought some pasties the other day and ended up throwing them away. I used to do alot of buffies and buy most of the cooked meats pies sausage rolls but I'm very SAD to say ? it will be a long time before l return to shop again. Can we ? go back to original reciepys please.

The only sausages I like and I've tried a lot. Plus the hot pots are amazing. My latest favourite is the mega steak and Alex pies.

The Quality has detereated so bad we have loved going there in the past but not anymore the pork pies are wet no jelly added and fall to pieces and your sausages breck up when inthe pas and your tomato sausage have a new skin that’s hard to eat and cut big change there I’m a butcher and it’s a shame what’s happening to your place it a shame your product has detereated so much

Always love Cottoms hotpots. They are a lovely comfort food. Have about 1 a month. Get the large family one it does 2 of us 2 days. Never had a hotpot like it. It FABULOUS.

Came this morning for the first time for the famous hotpots i bought 5 individual ones for the family we had them for lunch.
10/10 plenty of filling and flavour will be returning again soon thanks to all.
