Bought a pastry top steak pie last week. More fat/ gristle than beef. Pastry top was good but filling left a lot to be desired. Won't rush to buy this brand again!

Very disappointed this NYE. I bought 2 packets of your puff pastry and sadly both didn't rise. Flat and tough. I never normally write reviews, however, knowing that my family always look forward to my NYE meal I make them, as the puff pastry is the star of the show. It was sadly missed from everyone's plates. I doubt I'll buy it again.

Now haud ontae yer hosses....
I've just found at the back of wor larder a Kirriemuir Gingerbread with candied Orange, so on opening tried a bit with a cuppa coffee, absolutely fandabbie'. The wife looks at the sell by with googly eyes, " Ya steamin great numpty ets onae use by Jan 2016!!." Well am still here and no ill side effects . Post written 23Dec24

I thought I would treat my husband to a different meat pie and bought a 2 pack of Scotch pies. As he only wanted to try one I thought I would try heating it in my air frier. He loved it! The second one I heated in the oven along with my chicken keiv. That one was a bit too crispy round the edges.. So! my conclusion is...try your air friers !

I purchased a Bells steak pie earlier, as attached. A quarter of it had filling, the larger part of pie conveniently hidden by packaging, was completely empty. Tesco's quality control surely not as it should be....Don't waste your money on Bells' products

I used to buy the Bells steak pies on a regular basis, stopped due to the amount of grizzle. I decide to try the Aberdeen Angus steak pie, really just to see if there was any change. Very poor quality, supposed to feed 2 people, there was enough pastry for 2 but there was mainly gravy in the filling and around 5 or 6 pieces of "steak". Cannot even give this 1 star never mind 5. Extremely disappointed. Your products are not cheap they reasonably priced but the quality and quantity was extremely poor. Unfortunately I will no longer recommend this product to friends and family like I used too.

My friend purchased a All-Steak pie for me since I couldn’t get out myself because of ill health.The way bells group describe there product needs looking into by trade& standards because the content of the All-Steak pie was not what was described to me on the box. This pie was full of watery gravy and the meat or should I say the fat and gristle that was in the pie was very much disgusting.I put the whole pie into the bin because it was not fit for human consumption or even dog consumption.Regards.Mr Rees.
