What a delightful experience. Gemma and Keith are amazing hosts who are passionate about what they do and incredibly knowledgeable. The animals are wonderfully cared for and very accessible. Nothing is too much trouble, the tents are very comfortable and the food boxes are delicious. Wouldn’t hesitate to go again.

We had a lovely time at Gemma's Farm yesterday both Gemma and her partner are very welcoming and informative. The animals are well looked after, everything was clean and cosy for them. Excited to go back another day and potentially do the overnight glamping. Perfect little find close to home xx

We've just returned from a fabulous night away at Gemma's Farm, what a fantastic find!

Gemma and her partner Keith are friendly and very knowledgeable people, with interesting facts about all of the animals in their care. We bottle fed a baby Lamb (Sunflower), we were kept in line by Bingo the Cockerel who struts around the farm letting everyone know who's boss and we got to feed - and learn about - a variety of animals including Alpacas, Sheep, Goats, Chickens, Pigs, Ducks and many more.

You get to stay in beautiful bed under canvas right in the middle of the farm, in a situation which is very much an upgrade on camping, but isn't quite so self-conscious as glamping.

We were kindly lent a BBQ for the evening and cooked ourselves the food we'd brought with us, then the following morning we were treated to a belly filling breakfast served with many of farm's own foods included.

Nothing is too much trouble for Gemma and Keith and I take pleasure in being able to recommend their 5 star business.

I can’t express how lovely this family run farm is! We had such an amazing time the whole farm to ourselves, we met all the animals, collected eggs, and stayed over night in a lovely bell tent. We learnt so much about each of the animals, the kids were in their element! Gemma and Keith are such genuine lovely people and made us feel so welcome. Will definitely be going back

Highly recommend glamping at Gemma’s Farm! We stayed for the weekend as a family and the kids absolutely loved it. They got to experience things you don’t usually get to like early morning egg collecting and staying up late learning about the nocturnal animals from the lovely Gemma herself. Very relaxed atmosphere to let the kids just be kids and run free all day safely on the farm whilst also being educated on the animals and being able to help out. Nothing is too much trouble for Gemma and the team. Recommend the bbq pack (soo much yummy farm meat we even took a load home) and the s’mores experience round the fire. Worth every penny spent ?

This half term the primary school I teach at were privileged to visit Gemma's Farm in White Notley which offers a fantastic school trip. We visited over 2 days with our reception year group (3 form) and used community bookable buses as transport.

The opportunity to visit the farm and interact with the animals whilst being involved in their feeding and care was not only fun but also incredibly beneficial in line with the Early Learning Goals (ELG's). By engaging with the animals, children got the chance to develop empathy, responsibility, and a better understanding of the natural world. So much child-led learning and investigation has been sparked by the visit.

What sets Gemma's Farm apart is their dedication to inclusivity and support for those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The farm is designed to be accessible, ensuring that all children can fully participate and enjoy the experience. This inclusivity allows children with SEN to feel supported and included, fostering a sense of belonging and acceptance.

The visit to Gemma's Farm also promotes well-being for both the children and teachers (free tea and coffee!!?). Spending time in nature and interacting with animals has been shown to have a positive impact on mental health and emotional well-being. This was absolutely our experience; the children loved every moment of their experience out in the local community. Gemma and her team are truly amazing; intuitive, extremely knowledgable, fun, warm and incredibly welcoming.
