Wow!! Didn't expect such an amazing place right on the doorstep of Didcot. You have to try the food here as there is so much choice and the people are really friendly. Choice of food from burgers to Mexican, vegetarian, and vegan menus. lots of beers to choose from. Outside tv and music, lots of seating available. Outdoor movies are shown here. A giant teepee to shelter in that's so comfortable and warm as it has heating. Toilets are immaculate and warm. If you haven't been here before, come on down and give it a go. BEST KEPT SECRET EVER!!

We ate on this visit, our third. The toilets were unclean most locks broken, floors very wet. Food was quite nice but cold, yet we had to wait, so thought it would be fresh. The hygiene procedures of staff left much to be desired, had gloves on but between customers saw one staff member going in and out of doors, chatting at the bar, leaning over the bar and put her hand on her bottom to cover her dignity as her shorts were revealing. Another chatting to friends while customers waiting, stroking hair over his fringe with food gloves on, then took meat out of a freezer and commenced cooking. Bins overflowing. Staff seemed less than enthusiastic. These comments relate to the three outlets we used only. Won't be gong back. Read great reviews but these must have been when it first opened. The guy singing was very good. Only positive.

Outdoor spaces are a little tougher in winter, but they do have a warm space to eat too, look for the big Teepee! Katalini's greek food is especially good

Great idea well executed! The burgers are really good.
UPDATE
I have visited the DiSH many times since they open a year ago. The burgers are still really good. Possibly my favourite burger ever. The other food options are also good, I have tried the Mexican, Japanese and Thai and these are also very nice. The seating is good, the weather proofing they have added will keep customers coming even as the weather turns cooler.
I already planning my next burger trip!

Dish has a nice selection of takeaways on campus. You can preorder food from the website to be collected or delivered at a specified time.

Overall the food quality is good. There is a bar on site, lots of seating and some facilities such as toilets.

The pricing is on the expensive side when considering portion size ranging around £10+ for the majority of items on the menus for most of the different stores.

We came on a cold early evening in March but luckily there were fur pads on the wooden benches. The teepee tent was shut for renovations so we used the outdoor heaters to try to keep warm. Food and drink service was quite swift. Most dishes were over £10 and more of snack style food and only 3 different food vendors. The greek gyros were delicious, well made and presented. Would recommend as all food outlets offered food for vegetarians. Wheel chair access may be too difficult because of the terrain. Medium size carpark next to the area. Accessible by car and bus.

Amazing selection of street food from the vendors. The burgers from 1885 are the best I’ve ever tasted and the Greek food from Katalinis is incredible! Great place for all ages.

We love it here. I mainly go for the pizzas which are amazing and great value! The chicken Gyro's are also great. It's a really relaxed environment where we can bring the dogs after a walk on the ridgeway. Perfect. We try not to go when
"Worried about Mike" is performing as his singing is horrid and often way too loud. If you value your ears and enjoy a good song then this guy will ruin both.
