I have cause to visit this shop twice in the last month. The first time I was served by a very helpful lady who even offered to carry the 5litre tin of paint to my car - I declined her very kind offer. The second visit was not so positive. I was served by a surly man who needs remedial training in how to deal with female customers. Such a shame as my initial visit was promising.

Can't beat a Brewers. Helpful service and all products I needed were available. I'm a professional decorator and always recommend Albany paints to customers. Great quality. Never had an issue here. Even when I do my own decorating I come here.

Went there for a collection and the only person in the shop stood at the back and didn't even acknowledge me or any other customer, after waiting for 10 minutes I left along with the customer in front of me.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. The ‘manager’ tried to tell my 2 year old off. If you have a problem talk to the parent. Do not be aggressive to children?! Homebase much more pleasant and service with a smile.

Everybody is really helpful, polite and warm
A member of staff saw me struggling outside with items I'd bought from another shop, and offered to help
He even gave me string to tie things onto my car!
It's the best place for specialist stuff and good advice
