A wonderful walk through forests and meadows that have a touch of magic within.
Beautiful variety butterflies for the kids to take pictures of.
Disappointed there were no farm animals in close proximity (ok....3 chickens) but we could see some in the distance. Understandable though considering the COVID-19 restrictions.
The well which dates back to medieval times was the icing on the cake.

I go down there almost every day to walk my dog. The river walk is most beautiful. Although extremely muddy at this time of year. Wellies highly recommended.

This was an unexpected gem behind Haslemere high street. It's perfect for a short walk with kids, especially given the mix of environments - wooded, fields, inclines. It didn't seem to be massive (though we didn't explore for long) but I imagine we'll be back in the future when we want an hour's break in nature.

It's in a good location, close to Haslemere, with lots of outside seating. Quite a modern kitchen and loved being shown round Speckled Wood, the environmentalley building which is part of complex.
